They want to make long-term customers I began shopping in Long Island, where I live, and came across the typical slick, double talking sales types. Then, by luck, I chanced upon Bay Ridge I began shopping in Long Island, where I live, and came across the typical slick, double talking sales types. Then, by luck, I chanced upon Bay Ridge Hyundai and, after a satisfactory preliminary phone conversation, I drove the 25 miles to their show room. It was well worth the trip. They are a new showroom and it is evident, from their attitude and service, that they want to make a long-term customer and not just a quick sale. My interactions with manager Camille, sales person Ahmad and finance guy Mohamed were all pleasant and everyone helped make the complex process simple and transparent--no tricks, gimmicks or hidden charges. My sales person Ahmad, a recent graduate of Brooklyn College, was great and, most important, knows how to make a deal in a straightforward manner and without the usual haggling. And, after I took the car, he was always available to deal with post-sales questions, etc. I got a great lease deal and traded in my old car for a fair price. Also, had a nice day checking out Bay Ridge, which is an interesting place. More
