Purchasing a new Santa Fe. i purchased this Santa Fe at this dealership because of the service that I had received from the SERVICE department. I assumed the purchase would be h i purchased this Santa Fe at this dealership because of the service that I had received from the SERVICE department. I assumed the purchase would be handled with the same professional manner. I was wrong. The purchase experience was sadly lacking in the same professional experience that I enjoyed with the service department. I had to go to a different dealership to complete the purchase. That was most inconvenient and too time consuming. I considered canceling my purchase. But that wasn't really an option, since I had to sign some papers, before they would even go get the vehicle. I would have liked to at least look at a vehicle before purchase, but this dealership didn't have any stock. There was one Santa Fe on the lot, and it was out of the price range that I was interested in. So I ended up purchasing a vehicle sight unseen. And I had purchased the vehicle on Thursday and finally received it on Saturday. I feel that was too long. I could have driven to Jackson or Hattiesburg to purchase this vehicle, and I probably would have gotten a better deal. I had to purchase running boards to be installed on the vehicle, due to the height of the vehicle. They were supposed to call me when the part arrived. After two weeks, I just stopped buy the dealership to see about the running boards. The part had been I for several days, but the service department didn't know that the parts were for me. That did not make a favorable impression of the sales department. Someone should have notified the service department and I should have been called. It seems to me that once the papers were signed, I was on my own to take care of my vehicle. This is why I will not recommend this dealership to anyone wanting to purchase. I regret that I used them. And I won't make that mistake again. I will continue to use the service department. The service is a great and I have no complaints about it. The dealership should take lessons from the service department. Professional service at its best.. More
