We purchased from this dealership a few years ago and had a great experience so we decided to buy again, but they’ve definitely went way downhill over the years. First, the person helping us named Allison al a great experience so we decided to buy again, but they’ve definitely went way downhill over the years. First, the person helping us named Allison almost seemed like it was a burden to show us the cars. We wanted to see several Tucsons since they’re so many versions of it, and once we said that she instantly tried to talk us into only seeing 1 or 2. During the financing portion, I asked about several of the deals advertised online and was told she didn’t know about those and they’re probably last months deals and aren’t updated. We submitted our credit application with her between 8-8:30pm, but apparently the finance manager didn’t get it until 10pm. They close at 8 so there weren’t many people there and no one could account for why we had to wait 1.5 hours for the application to be submitted. This dealership also stopped allowing outside funding, so while I could get a better deal on a loan at a different bank, they wouldn’t accept it and they force you to finance with them. They didn’t have that policy last time and we will not buy from them again because of this. They also severally undervalued our trade in. They offered $2.5 k less than carvana, and then their estimate of our trade in was lower than even the lowest price listed on their trade in tool even though the car was in great shape. Lastly, the finance manager was too persistent. We didn’t meet with him til after 10pm when the application came back and when reviewing all of the additional warranties, I had to tell him no at least 3 times before he would listen, and even then he kept trying to tell me stories about why it was important to buy it. We bought our previous car here in only two hours and this experience was 4+ hours. More
I was a walk in. They informed me they may need to keep the car a day or so. So I asked about a rental. They said they were not sure if they had any. So I offered to come back on Friday. They said the person handling the rentals was gonna check to see if they had any and let me know. I patiently sat in the waiting area for 2 hours. When the service person approached me. Asked if the rental person spoke with me. I said no. (I had watched him gather his belongings and talk about how he was leaving early though) I was then told it would be best to bring the vehicle back on Friday. And that hopefully they’d have a rental car by then. So I asked if my car had been inspected in any way. And was told NOTHING was done to my vehicle. So I sat there from 3:37 PM until 5:34 PM for NO REASON. Not upset about coming back Friday, as I had presented it as an option when I first arrived. Upset about the poor communication and terrible service. The service tech was apologetic and did say he would try to reserve a vehicle for me for Friday. Not sure I am going to use this location for future service though. More
