I dropped my car off on Wednesday morning November 20 and got it back Monday November 25. I is not get a diagnosis on my vehicle till late Friday the 22. Of course the initial estimate was for 3000 dollars. I green lighted the replacement of the cam sensor which is the reason I brought the car in. This sensor had caused the service engine light to go on. I asked to receive an email detailing the other 2500 in charges and never received it. I called back asking for said email on the same day-nothing. After giving the service department the go ahead on my cam sensor replacement-a diagnosis that took two days I did not here from anyone till Monday the 25. I was picked up by valet and brought to the garage which was greatly appreciated. Upon getting into the service office I asked a woman in the office what was the hold up with this job? The answer I received is that “oh this is a big job.” A job that gets billed for an hour of labor is a big job? Finally I asked if there was anything that could be done seeing as my car had been there 5 days. I was told this was not a decision that had to be made by a superior. Please ask for discount was my response. I received a 10% discount. I brought my car to here knowing I was going to pay a high labor rate. When I pay this rate I’m expecting a prompt response. This was absolutely not my experience with your dealership. 5 days for a sensor? 280 to put it in after 5 days? I would not have had a problem paying that if I had gotten the vehicle back after two or maybe even three days. More
