Several years ago my dad showed us to purchase his chrysler van. This can had been great and taken us great places. Unfortunately the transmission failed. Oh my this was such a mistake! Well over $7000 later and a cylinder head repair of $2500 and almost a month of them keeping the van we do not yet have it back. First excuse: we thought we had a gallery in stock but do not. 2nd excuse: we put it back together improperly and have an exhaust leak. 3rd excuse: something else put back together improperly( sorry do not remnant what as I was seeing red at this time) and leaks transmission fluid. 4th: accidently spilled transmission fluid. I requested one thing from them. One thing. A loaner car for 1 day. 1 day. xxxx not even a whole day. I truly think they could care less about the customer and it is all about the bottom line. More

My truck went in with Cam and Lifter to be replaced. Was quoted 2900.00 for the job, turned into over 4k 18 hours of labor and what I learned was at most take 10 to 12 and thats pushing it. It went in on the 14th of November I got it back on the 29th of Jan 2021. They replaced the fuel pump and starter witout advising, in this process they tried to hide they didnt flush out the metal shavings in the engine from the cams and lifters. I had the oil drained and sent to a testing lab, they replaced a less than 6 month old starter that was under a warranty. In this process they over tightened it and busted the side off of the bellhousing which made the engine sound like it was going to blow so they quoted me a used transmission at 5k I called the same place by luck and got it for 1,000. They lied and said the flex plate was broken and needed replaced. The flex plate has no cracks, all teeth are in great shape and its not warped. I have made several trips to be told I dont know what I'm talking about, oh I will find out and get back with you. And after getting the truck towed out of there I find out they didnt give me all the parts to the truck, I'm missing the transmission bolts, I'm mission the dust pan and when they threw the transmission in the bed of the truck they busted it worse. And also tried to put oily parts on leather seats and close the door to damage the side panel. Grease was all over the truck doors, seats, steering wheel. Also in test driving it they put over 300 miles on it and ran a full tank of gas and left it on empty. I'm still waiting on the General Manager to call me back and its been a week! I guess once I call my bank and reverse the charges for the cams and lifters because of the damages they caused to the transmission and scratches and other items I bet they will call back then. More
I just purchased a Stinger from Ilderton & WOW!!! My initial conversation was with Tina in sales. She got everything together & got me with Scott Osborne, their sales manager. He got everything done, KEPT HIS PROMISES & got a driver to meet me halfway to sign paperwork. Scott is the real deal in the business. He knows his job, executes it wonderfully & he is straight forward. Yall got a good guy working with you. Don't let him go anywhere. Thanks again yall!!! More

The place is a joke at best. If they had negative stars they would sure get it. There must be a ton of fake reviews on this place. I had terrible service in 2008 and terr at best. We made a 7:30am Monday appointment over the telephone which they stated you are pretty much going to be in and out the door on the same day. I had quite a few things to check out under warranty and they noted them on the work order. They stated that my vehicle would go directly back and have it’s oil changed and inspection done right away before they check everything. I told them I understand that some things are intermittent and I understand that if they can’t get to everything but complete the oil change and inspection and if they can’t get to the rest by Thursday I will bring it back. Two full days go by, they call at 3pm to ask me what I would like done by Thursday. I ask what has been done over the past two days. He tells me nothing has been done, it hasn’t even been pulled into the service area. What a joke. What’s the point of an appointment I asked. He stated that they don’t have a service manager right now like somehow that justifies doing nothing at all. I will never go to this dealer again for anything. I’ll Make sure to let everyone I know how much lack of service they have and will also call Chrysler customer care and tell them about my bad experience and lack of service. If they can’t fit you in on the day you make an appointment they should let you know that day. It would save people the hassle of juggling cars and tasks. Save yourself the trouble and make a trip to north point Chrysler in Winston. At least I picked my vehicle up so I would not have to deal with potentially inferior work done on the vehicle as well. I Don't Recommend! I made appointments twice for this dealership to service my suv that I purchased from them on 11/10/18. When I took it there, they said they were very busy, but gave me a card to contact them the Wednesday after Christmas. I called several times throughout the day but got no answer. So, I rescheduled my appointment online. The day before the appointment, I made several attempts throughout the day to contact them, left messages--nothing! I don't know about other Ilderton locations, but I would definitely not recommend the High Point, NC location. I have an extended warranty purchased from that dealership, and when I took the vehicle in the first time, they said they couldn't find any evidence of it. That's when they told me to come back the following Wednesday. Several days after purchase, the vehicle started making a loud knocking noise at the right front wheel well, which is the reason for the visit. I knew I would have to leave the vehicle, which wasn't a problem, but having them not answer my calls or contact me after I left numerous messages... I don't know! BUT... they've called me nearly every week since my purchase to ask me if I'm still in the market for a car. Go figure! More
Awesome Service Department! I purchased my vehicle in Prince George, Virginia and we live in Asheboro, NC so commuting for service there would be pretty much pointless. I started going to Asheboro Dodge and was very disappointed. I switched to Ilderton Dodge was immediately impressed. I had a couple issues with my vehicle and Al Claus the service manager at Ilderton worked and worked until he helped resolve the issues my Durango was having. I will never switch back to Asheboro as long as I have a dodge and Al is at Ilderton! Happy customer :) More
