As you stated, you purchased one of the “pre-auction” cars. Unlike our “Signature” used cars that come with a money back guarantee, are hand-picked, inspected by our technicians and held to a very high standard, the pre-auction cars are disclosed as “buyer be ware” and as-is. We have sold many pre-auction cars without any problems, unfortunately your car is an exception. I spoke with you, met with the manager and salesperson involved in the sale and instructed them to call you with our best case scenario solution. Which was to trade the vehicle in at the highest auction value justified, replace it with another vehicle to your liking at our cost and apply any profit made from the original sale. We asked you to come in more than once to select the vehicle and start the replacement process and did not respond. On our last call to you, we learned you had purchased another vehicle. This leaves us only with the option of taking the vehicle to auction, securing the highest bid and giving you that amount plus any profit from the original sale. I did discuss with you the possibility of trading the car. I talked with Tip and Matt several times in the beginning and they both stated that they would attempt to find a car that would "work" to get me out of the lemon. THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK! they told me to pick out something to trade, but then they said they would have to find something. I will do what needs to be done to get arbitration started. YOU said YOU would call me. Matt called and stated he was just wondering what YOU and I agreed to. I told him you said you were going to talk with your auction guy on Friday, but I never heard back. He asked if I still needed a car for my daughter, to which I replied, I bought one. He said he was unable to talk with you prior to you going out of town, so that is the last phone call I received.
