Pete, I am very sorry to read about the issue you had in our service department. While I know we could only perform the work on your horn and vehicle with your authorization, and while I know it is our normal process to dispose of or recycle damaged parts where possible, the comment from my team is not acceptable. Because I was unable to determine your identity or the specific employee that made the remark, I have met with my entire service team to make them aware of the incident and that this type of remark is not acceptable- regardless of how good of rapport we think we may have with a client. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly about this at any time and I would like the opportunity to make this up to you in the future. Jack Schmitt Ford Lincoln has the highest customer satisfaction scores in the entire St. Louis area based on surveys from our service customers, but we are far from perfect.
