This will be a long read, but information worth knowing so you do not end up in the same situation. I went here in 2019 for a new car when it was Cocoa Kia. We had the GREATEST experience. In November 2025, I decided to come back to this kia location, now known as Jackson Kia. It has been a nightmare! I bought a CERTIFIED Pre-Owned car. I went through Kia and a dealership so i did not get xxxxed over. I bought a CERTIFIED pre owned thinking it would get me reliability and safety for my son and I. 90 days later, the car they sold me is absolutely xxxxED! I ended up stranded on I4 in Lakeland (on my way to Tampa and 90 minutes from home.) The car randomly stalled and as i would hit my gas pedal to try to merge into I4 traffic again just to get myself OFF the highway and into a safer spot, my car would die when i hit the gas pedal with my 7 year old in the backseat. NOT SAFE. NOT TRUSTWORTHY. NOT REALIABLE. I called them to ask about my warranty. I was told i had no warranty and I did NOT buy a certified pre-owned (by Service Manager, Marlon). Jackson Kia service center told me it would be $200 to get my car diagnosed from their service department. After I got sent in circles over the phone, i walked in there the following day and demanded the paper i signed regarding my warranty so i could see what my warranty was if it wasn't going to cover my car. Marlon (finance manager) says "I dug deeper" and handed me my warranty paper.. Stating 6 months or 6,000 mile powertrain warranty and CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED in big bold letters on the top right-hand corner!! Two days later after Kia looked at the car, I learn that the fuel pump went out, which killed the fuel injectors, which melted the manifold. **This is a FUEL PUMP PROBLEM that ruined other parts of my car. A fuel pump is part of a powertrain system. It is a critical component to my car's engine.** Kia sends out an adjuster, and they tell me THIS IS NOT COVERED. 90 days ago, I trusted Jackson Kia with my vehicle choice safety, my business, my money, and in return, I got a lemon with NO ONE willing to help. "I heard back from the warranty company, and they have declined the claim stating the components need is not part of the powertrain, sorry about this" -Tony in service. As you can imagine, i am beyond angry and beyond disappointed at this ENTIRE situation and the fact that every step of this has been a nightmare. PLEASE do not waste your time here. Take your money to a local dealership like Toyota, Chevy, Honda, Ford, or a buy here-pay here, Billy bob on Marketplace, ANYWHERE but this xxxxing place!! These CERTIFIED PREOWNED CARS are not safe, not inspected properly, not reliable, and Jackson Kia does not give a xxxx about you after you signed the paperwork and get handed the key you think you're so excited to have. More
Called for a service appointment and someone scheduled an appointment for 1:00 pm same day. I arrived at the dealership to drop off my car and had the worst interaction with Scott in service. I just wanted to drop my car off for a basic service and he told me we shouldn’t have scheduled an appointment between 12-1. Scott was so standoffish and acted like I did something wrong. He was quick to tell me he had 3 people in front of me with a nasty attitude! I will gladly take my business elsewhere. More
I just moved to area last Tuesday, took my car to get looked at because two days before I moved , my car was not drive able. I talked to Bree she got me all wrote up gave her the keys and was gone with looked at because two days before I moved , my car was not drive able. She was so nice and easy to talk to, really thankful she called us over to help us. More

We took our 2025 KIA Sportage to Jackson KIA because we are so disappointed with how we've been treated by Boniface Hiers staff since we purchased the vehicle April 29, 2025. We had 1,997 miles when the last incident happened. I plan that is my final trip to Boniface Hiers. I encourage people to try Jackson KIA. Do not spend your money at Boniface Hiers KIA. Jackson KIA washed my car after service. We enjoyed being treated like Consumers at Jackson KIA. More

Go anywhere else. SalesDept is a cliche. Second they make the sale they stop... everything. Highlights: Sales Manager (Nick) is rude and condescending. Becomes agg SalesDept is a cliche. Becomes aggressive when you point out his obvious tricks (classic take money off price and bake it into another column instead and pretend he's doing you a favor). Everyone does it but the way he reacts when you dont thank him is wild. New car didn't have floor mats or spare key (no biggie). Salesman ordered them and would have them by the weekend and that was fine. Fast forward a month; Salesman won't callback and has never, one-time, provided an update on-time without me calling to ask. Find out he never ordered them and have to escalate to a manager to get it done. Takes a month and a half and dozens of phone calls to get floor mats and a spare key on a brand new car. Whatever... things happen. Notice a few months later one of the tiny-triangle-windows in front is missing tint. They do the tint automatically as part of their required $3000 upscale (headsup). Cant blame them too much for missing it, took me months to see it too. Tried to call but takes 2-weeks of calling and still nothing... bad Google review and get a call next day. Speak to Nick again and he apologizes and will take care of it. Explain we've had some issues and worried they won't call me back. Guarantees he will call the day before to confirm the appointment. He does not.. I called twice trying to confirm, nothing. Appointment passes, still no call. 2 days later I call. No one is available and find out tint specialist doesn't even work that day. Gave up and will pay out of pocket rather than deal with this. Might not be everyone at Jackson Kia but the Sales Management is terrible. I am not an angry person, I dont raise my voice, and am genuinely not angry at anyone I speak with. Im not one of "those" customers is what im trying to say. I believe in promises-made, promises-kept .. simple. If you have the same expectation when buying a new car... go somewhere else. More
