So I drive over an hour from Massachusetts to have my Volvo serviced at Capital Volvo of Albany in New York... While waiting for my service, I decided to check on a part number I needed for an older Volv Volvo serviced at Capital Volvo of Albany in New York... I was speaking with Tom in parts and found the number that I had researched was correct for my chassis number... I said thank you and he said would you like to purchase the part ... I said thank you but I believe I can get it less expensive through an auto parts store on the internet ... at this point Kevin, who I assume is the manager, asked how much the price was on the internet ... When I told him he said he would be happy to match the price and I said that sounds like a done deal ... It's this kind of consideration and salesmanship that brings me back over and over to your dealership ... interesting to note: I live 20 minutes from our local Volvo dealer ... WARNING: DO NOT USE CAPITAL LUXURY CARS OF 347 NEW KARNER ROAD ALBANY,NY! I actually read the bad reviews on this dealership,went against my better judgement and used them anyway. I bought a used 2017 Toyot ROAD ALBANY,NY! I actually read the bad reviews on this dealership,went against my better judgement and used them anyway. I bought a used 2017 Toyota Sienna off their Volvo lot. The car was immaculate inside and out and this was confirmed by a independent shop I brought it to before I purchased it. The day I picked up the van, it was dark outside and they had the van parked in a very odd spot tucked up close to the dealership building, ( at the time I didn't think much of the odd positioning of the van.) Got the van home that night. The next morning I go outside to look at the van and found hundreds of scratches all of the driver side. Apparently when they detailed the car, ( before I picked it up ),they scratched it up. This explains why the driver side of the van was parked so snug against the wall of the dealership, they were trying to hide the damage. Make a long story short, I took the van back the very next morning and they apologized for damage and said, it would all be fixed. They had my car for over a week and when I went back to pick it up, not only was the original damage not repaired correctly, but there was new scratches on the passenger side, as well as the passenger side. I had the service manager Eric Rosen come out to look at the scratches and he said, I will not repaint the car just too expensive but they would send the car back out to there shop called Best Body located in Latham/Cohoes area.( It was later confirmed this shop does not exist ) . I asked Mr. Rosen, "what is the address of this shop and who worked on my car?" Mr. Rosen stated; I do not have to give you that information. I asked him several more times and he would not tell me the address of where my car was repaired. At one point, Mr. Rosen tried to back track and say, " actually the car was not sent out it was repaired here at Volvo." LIAR!! Also, I dropped my car off at Volvo with 57466 miles and when I picked it up, it had 57486, so they put 20 miles on my car. So my question now is, if the car never left Volvo for repair, why is there 20 miles added onto my mileage? Mr. Rosen and the rest of the shady staff I dealt with at Capital Luxury Cars, could not answer that question either. Shady dealer ship... do not buy a pencil from this place. Shame on Capital Luxury Cars of Albany, NY Going to make sure everyone knows about this horrible dealership, ( i.e channel 6 news, AG, BBB, and msny many more!!! Will not get away with ruining my car!!! Messed with the wrong customer!!! More

The headlight of my Volvo went out suddenly on Saturday evening. I drove the car on a well lit street to reach home. I was scared, so the next day, Sunday, I took my car to Volvo dealer, which was closed evening. I drove the car on a well lit street to reach home. However, the Parts Manager, Kevin Davis, happened to be in the parking lot outside Volvo Dealer Shop. He helped me to get the headlight back on, He is such an exceptional employee of an exceptional dealer, indeed.. More
When searching for a new car in the NE I looked high a and low to find what I wanted. After reading the review recommendations and the excellent experience customers had specifically with Julie Moroney La and low to find what I wanted. I contacted the dealership and was thrilled to learn that Julie would be my salesperson. I live over 3 hours away from the dealership in northern Vermont so took a real gamble to manage the entire negotiation over phone and email but Julie was so helpful that by the time the dust settled I happy with the final quote and confident I could test the car and walk away if with no additional pressure. I am SUPER happy to say that I left the dealership with my first Volvo, a few more $ in savings and the best car buying experience of my life. I expected to be there all day going through the dealership game arriving back home well after dark but Julie was efficient, the other team members incredibly helpful and friendly, and I was back home in time to enjoy our family dinner. To the entire team at Capital Luxury Cars - thank you for a great Wednesday. More

My Goodness! These guys went above and beyond to Infinity.. As a first time Volvo owner, I was somehow lucky enough to stumble upon a 2018 V90 CC Ocean Race edition and fell in love with the car immediately, it As a first time Volvo owner, I was somehow lucky enough to stumble upon a 2018 V90 CC Ocean Race edition and fell in love with the car immediately, it was my dream car that I never new existed until 2 weeks ago. Amazingly, all the accessories will still intact for this 2 year old vehicle, the only thing missing was the matching roof box, after spending numerous hours on Volvo owner's forums, came to realize this box was discontinued and had all but given up hope. Randomly this past weekend, I reached out to Volvo's main warehouse and was informed there was 1 left in the entire country listed as a "showroom" allocation in Albany, NY ( I live in CA), after excitedly confirming with Tom on Saturday they indeed had the part, he assured me he would look into shipping costs to CA and with this thing being over 60lb, it might be costly...a little bummed but was hopeful. One thing that I gathered from speaking with Tom and Kevin is their passion for Volvo, you can hear it in the way to talk about the Volvo brand, as a new Volvo owner, that really resonated with me. They left no stone un-turned and went to work for me, FedEx, UPS, Yellow Trucking all wanted exuberant amount of money, with one over 3X the cost of the box! Kevin and Tom really went to bat for me and reached out to Volvo Corp to work out a solution that absolutely blew my socks off! Even though it was a bit more than I had budgeted for this experience really showed my that Volvo treats their customers like family. I can not sing higher praises for the Team at Capital Volvo! THANK YOU guys and looking forward to complete my V90 CC Ocean Race. How can I forget to mention that care that Kevin and Tom in packaging the box for shipment? They wrapped with bubble wrap 2X, multi boxes, securing with tape and other various protection to ensure this box would arrive in mint condition! Even putting a fresh coast of wax on the box. You have amazed me in the level of customer service!!! More
