We're dismayed that you were less than completly satisfied. Service contract companies determine those parts that are, and are not covered. In this instance their determination was that the component was not. When a vehicle is financed, service contracts list the lein holder as a co-owner of the contract. Typically lienholders require that proceeds from cancelled service contracts are sent to them and applied to the loan principle. As we explained to you at the time, since you were in the process of refinancing the vehicle with a new bank, the refund process for contract cancellation could not be completed until the your new loan was processed, thus assurring that the refund would come directly to you and not to the original leinholder. While your experience here, and your situation were out of the ordinary, perhaps we could have done a better job of helping you understand the complexities involved. We're sorry that you had a less than satisfying experience, and look forward to one day meeting your expectations should you choose to allow us to help you purchase your next vehilce.
