Tried to buy a car, leT very upset. I went to buy a new 2015 kia optima. I first spoke with a dealer named Jason, he was ok at first and when I told him what I wanted he showed me one ca I went to buy a new 2015 kia optima. I first spoke with a dealer named Jason, he was ok at first and when I told him what I wanted he showed me one car and then showed me the price after taxes on a sheet of printer paper he wrote on. It went from 23,400 to 29,400. I couldn't believe it. He told me I couldn't get the online pricing because it was for financing and I was paying cash, he also didn't want to explain where all these charges came from, once I told him I wouldn't pay that much he said well were done here and got up and left, how rude!! then came back as I got my stuff to leave and tried to say well if you wanted a cheaper car i might have a few I told him no and left. Later Danny called me and said well let me talk to you about coming back in and trying to find you a car and when I told him how rudely I had been treated he apologized and seemed like he was going to help, when I stated I found the exact same car for much less at Cronin Kia in Harrison, OH he told me I was a liar!! He said he understood why Jason was rude and that I was lying about me finding the same car for less. I hung up the phone at that point and went to Cronin Kia and they did sell me the exact same 2015 Kia Optima with the ex package for 24,740 and that price is including taxes. Do not go here they will rip you off and treat you like xxxx. The only thing I'm glad about is that I found the same car and was bought from dealers who actually cared and wanted me to find the right car for the right price. They lost a customer for life. This is now my second kia. More

I hate the car buying process I do not like the car buying experience or haven't in the past. I hate the feeling of negotiating price, feeling nickel and dimed, and questioning if I do not like the car buying experience or haven't in the past. I hate the feeling of negotiating price, feeling nickel and dimed, and questioning if I am getting a good deal. I have to say that this experience to buy my Optima has changed that feeling for me! Dante Goetz made me feel comfortable and like the actual valued customer!! His knowledge about not only cars, but the dealership was impressive and made me trust and value his opinion. I been talking to Jeremy Hutton about coming in, but never made it in until the other day. I really didn't think that the dealership would get me in a car, my credit is not so good, based on by bad choices I made in my life back in 2012 when my mom passed away from cancer, RIP mom, I love and miss you. I stopped in on Monday 11/16/15 on my day off from work, and left, Jeremy said he will call me Tuesday to let me know what he could do. After talking back and forth with me, and explaining to Jeremy, that this is going to be my first Christmas with my family in over 3 years and all I have is this Chevy S10 to trade in, because I just got done spending $1,500 on repairs the last 2 weeks and into this truck for $4,300, I was tapped out and totally frustrated. He was able to get me into a one owner, well maintained (carfax) 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS with a 5 year, 100,000 mile powertrain warranty for $236 a month. I now have the piece of mind of driving a good vehicle and with full insurance. If your looking for a car, tell Jeremy that Johnny sent you and let him work his magic. Thanks Jeremy man... More

Dante was attentive, answered our questions, and never pressured us. When the first vehicle we looked at didn't meet our needs, he was quick to find another that did. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, and seemingly everyone at the dealership came over and said hello to our little girl, then made sure they did everything possible to make her happy. Tammy even took her for a walk, which she absolutely loved! Everyone also said how great it was to work for a family-oriented business, and how much they loved their position. The people in any business make the difference, and we'll be back to Jake Sweeney Kia and the whole Sweeney operation for all our automotive needs! More

Outstanding Sales & Service!!! I recently visited Jake Sweeney KIA in Florence with the intention of 'looking for a certified pre-owned' vehicle and ended up making a purchase! I recently visited Jake Sweeney KIA in Florence with the intention of 'looking for a certified pre-owned' vehicle and ended up making a purchase! I met with Danny Mangulabnan, who was referred to me by an individual who had recently purchased a Kia Optima from him. Danny listened to what I had to say about vehicle model, mileage and affordability and he showed me exactly the vehicles that fit my criteria. I test drove a Kia Optima and knew immediately it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Danny made the entire process smooth and hassle-free and literally within 2 hours I was approved and out the door with a certified pre-owned car!!! My past encounters with buying a vehicle at other dealerships has been dreadful. The experience was overwhelming and the sales force tried selling me things I didn't need or couldn't afford. Not to mention I spent half the day at the dealership haggling pricing, incentives, extras, etc. This WAS NOT the case with Danny and Jake Sweeney KIA!!!! Based on this recent experience I am a lifelong Kia owner!!! I even suggested Danny to my niece who ended up purchasing from him as well and is the proud owner of a new Kia Sportage! Terrible Customer Service Back in August I purchased a 2015 Kia Optima. I have no complaints about the car. It was my overall experience as a whole that will cause me to never recommend Kia in Florence. The salesman, Joe Netto, made numerous jokes about me being female saying we are bad drivers and causing all the accidents, that all women always need or want something. He also kept telling me to smile pretty at the manager to see if he would lower the price but I chose not to do so. He also wanted me to take him to a Reds game and pay for his beer. I laughed it off not knowing how to respond in that situation. I was also told that $500 would be taken out of my account in two installments in September. After purchasing the vehicle I got a follow up call asking about my experience and was honest about the whole thing. I later got a call from Coby Sweeney. He mentioned the salesman was up for promotion and was very displeased. Later that night I got a call from the salesman on my personal cell phone around 9:30 pm asking me to retract my statement and said that I was taking everything the wrong way.. It was very unprofessional for him to call me at the hour. He said I was overreacting about the whole thing and could cost him his job...which later I found out he was promoted anyway. Forward a couple months later when I was supposed to get my license plate before October 8th when my temporary one expired. I called the dealership many times leaving voicemails to have someone call me back about why I hadn't gotten them yet. On October 8th I finally demanded to talk to someone instead of going to a voicemail. I find out that they were holding my plate because I owed them $500 (which was supposed to be taken out automatically). They told me I needed to talk to my salesman and he finally called me back. He blamed it on me that the money wasn't taken out and wasn't sure why finance didn't charge my card. He even went on to say that it was probably because I didn't have any money in my account which wasn't true. He said I couldn't get my plate until I paid the $500 which I couldn't at that time. After him giving me attitude and just upsetting me I hung up on him. I finally decided to just go to the dealer and talk with finance about what I can do. The finance department was great to work with. Tammy and Shane were very easy to talk to and helped come up with a plan moving forward. I did find out that it was the salesman's responsibility to take my information to finance to have them charge my card which the salesman never did. I ended up getting my plates and coming up with a payment plan to pay them back the $500. That being said, I do love my car but wouldn't recommend going to this dealership. More
Regret making the purchase from Jake Sweeney Kia My wife and I do not regret purchasing our 2015 Kia Soul but, we do regret purchasing it from Jake Sweeney Kia. Towards the end of our purchase, My wife and I do not regret purchasing our 2015 Kia Soul but, we do regret purchasing it from Jake Sweeney Kia. Towards the end of our purchase, our salesman, Danny Mangulabnan was much more interested in dealing with his fantasy football draft than our pesky new vehicle purchase. So much so that our financing paperwork, particularly the warranty and payment months, was incorrect and of course in the dealerships favor. So much so that we received no instructional information regarding the multimedia features of the vehicle. And, to top off our customer service experience, the lot technician that "cleaned" the vehicle left the vehicle dirty (mud in the cupholders) and scratched the leather seat. After repeated telephone calls the dealership has offered to "repair" the seat at their convenience (Friday morning). Both my wife and I work, so this issue is still unresolved. Buyer beware, and stay away from Jake Sweeney! More
