I recently had my oil changed at James Cerati Nissan. There is a check list of fluid levels all marked FULL and it was also read to me. As soon as I returned to my residence I found oil leaking from the There is a check list of fluid levels all marked FULL and it was also read to me. As soon as I returned to my residence I found oil leaking from the plastic skid plate under the vehicle and I put a gallon of windshield wash in the container. The next morning, there was a small puddle of oil under the vehicle. Now, the owners manual has instructions on how to remove the plastic rivets and move the skid plate out of the way, which evidently was not done correctly. On the third day there was a larger puddle of oil under the vehicle. I returned to the dealer and complained about the oil leak. Mind you, I thought I was taking it to reputable dealer. The second gentlemen I spoke with stated that they would take care of it and provide me with some absorbent material to put on the oil puddle in my carport. The car was taken in to the shop and a few minutes later I was informed the oil drain plug was not tightened causing the leak. My car was brought around and I was told all is good. I layed on the concrete to inspect underneath and low and behold, the plastic skid plate was hanging low to ground and would have been torn off while driving down the road. There were two plastic rivets left to hold the skid plate, one was in correctly and the other was not holding anything. There was no absorbent material for me to use at home on the mess. They took the vehicle back to the shop. There was a different person came and told me they had replaced the plastic rivets and provided the oil dry. I retuned home and there was two greasy hand prints on the hood and one on the left front fender. A consumer should not have to thoroughly inspect their vehicle after having it serviced. That's why a person would take it to the dealership to have it serviced by supposedly professionals. Which evidently is not case now days People just don't care. Personnel should treat the service better than they would their own. More
