Sold me a classic with no fluid in the transmission. Purchased a CJ7 for nostalgia sake a month ago after seeing the maintenance performed and taking a test drive. After paying in cash, I had to wait Purchased a CJ7 for nostalgia sake a month ago after seeing the maintenance performed and taking a test drive. After paying in cash, I had to wait 3 hours while they “detailed and made sure everything was ready” before handing me the keys. Two hours and 62 miles later, the transmission had completely failed. When I called them in order to see if they would assist me in getting a tow to the service department where we could discuss this they wouldn’t even consider helping me get from the middle of nowhere to somewhere safe. They told me to take it to my mechanic and then we’ll talk. Well, I managed to tow it to my mechanic who let me know the transmission was dry, no leak just not fluid. Even during the test drive the vehicle was being destroyed because of the negligence. I left messages with Jeep Only and so far have had radio silence. I am still waiting on the new transmission to be installed, and it will eventually be an extra $4K and two months that they have caused me. I’d give zero stars if I could for destroying something indestructible due to their incompetence. More
