As a USAA member, I went through their car buying service which ultimately connected me to the sales team at Jenkins Mazda. I had looked into other makes as well, to include: Scion, Honda, and Toyota. Howeve which ultimately connected me to the sales team at Jenkins Mazda. I had looked into other makes as well, to include: Scion, Honda, and Toyota. However, my first impression in dealing with Greg Carlew is what made the difference for me. Greg contacted me almost immediately about the 2011 Mazda3 5-door I had configured on the USAA site. I have always been fond of Mazda, but had only recently been more interested in owning one. After visiting a local dealer while I was TDY and sitting in the Mazda3, I knew I had to have one. However, I had some hesitations. I voiced those hesitations to Greg and he provided quick answers to put my mind at ease, which I greatly appreciated. He answered all of the questions I threw at him quickly and professionally. He assured me that he would get the bulk of the work done, and I wasn't disappointed. When I arrived today to sign the papers and purchase the vehicle, Greg went over every detail with me. He had the car ready to go, helped me retrieve items out of my car, and made sure I was squared away when I rolled off the lot. I owe a TON of thanks to Greg for getting us a GREAT deal on the car, Ed for putting together the pricing quote, and Phil for going through all of the financing and warranty paperwork. You guys are TRULY a GREAT group of professionals! I have absolutely NO hesitations at sending friends your way and coming back to you guys for my next purchase! More
Jenkins Mazda went out of their way to make me a deal on the car I wanted. I am over two hours away and before I drove there to look at the car, they made every effort to answer all my questions I had. Th the car I wanted. They took the time to call me when I had questions and when I contacted them by e-mail they responded within 15 min. The dealership looks really good and all the staff that I talked to is very friendly. I do not know how the service dept is but I would say they are the same. Overall I would recommend this dealership to anyone. I am in the military and if I know anyone who is looking for a Mazda I will send them there. More
Overall the experience was good. Although we could not land the car we really wanted we did end up with a very nice car. I do believe that we were sort of misled when we were shown one car in a color tha land the car we really wanted we did end up with a very nice car. I do believe that we were sort of misled when we were shown one car in a color that we did not like and were told that they had another just like it in the color we did want. All of the same options. We agreed to the car and were even allowed to drive the other car home while they prepared ours for delivery. However, when we picked up our car the following day, we noticed that the rear view mirror was a standard mirror and not the same as the one that we had driven home the previous night. We inquired about this and Greg told us that we could purchase one, WHAT? We also found out that the cargo mats that were in the car when we had looked at it the night before were now not in our new car. Greg insists that we were not charged for the mats and that we had opted not to have them. WHAT? Why would we have opted to have something removed from the car that was already included in the price? Since having the car home the cargo net in the trunk has come off and will not stay attached. We will be bringing this in to get fixed. With us living almost an hour away from Ocala we will have to plan this repair in conjunction with other things we would like done. More
I have purchased many vehicles over the years and cannot express what an enjoyable experience this was. I purchased a used vehicle and he delivered it to my home! Everyone involved in this sale was wonderful and very professional. Jenkins Mazda should be proud of the sales staff. To say the least, I will recommend Jenkins Mazda and expect to be back for my next vehicle. More

My experience with Jenkins Mazda of Ocala was the best ever in purchasing a new car. Everyone from the online contacts, salesman, finance department to out the door including meeting all service represent ever in purchasing a new car. We were looking to buy a new car. We looked up Jenkins Mazda on the computer. With in a few minutes Jerry Brigante responded back and asked what we were intersed in duying. He set us up an appointment for Friday July 9 at 1:00 pm. with Gregory Carlew. We arrived a little late and Gregory was tied up with another custemer. They had a car pulled up front with our name on it. Jerry met with us and sent a new salesman by the name of Joe with us on a test drive till Gregory was finished with the custmer he was with. Gregory went over the car with us and answered all our questions. He then sat down to give us the price of the car with two tradeins. We went over the price a few times till we came very close to what we wanted to pay. Then another man (I forget his name) Very nice gentleman said he was from corporate and he wanted to make this sale. He gave us a figure and included all the extra the dealed had put on with the 3 year service contract. I told him we would take the deal. He turn us back over to Gregory and we started the paper work. Then Gregory took us through and introduced us to the service staff and showed us the service department. The deal was done and Gregory came along home with us to pick up the other tradein car which was at our house. WE would like to thank all of you at Jenkins Mazda for everything.
