Jason was patient with me regarding some questions and was easy going with a last minute chance I had. I felt the whole process took a little longer than I would have liked only because Jason was busy with other people who had stopped in without an appointment but that gave us plenty of time to go over everything. Jason even mailed an envelope back to me that I had left there the at his desk the next week. More

After One Good Review I initially rated Jerry's Hyundai 5-stars. The reason I am now rating them 2-stars is because they are just like every other dealership once you purc I initially rated Jerry's Hyundai 5-stars. The reason I am now rating them 2-stars is because they are just like every other dealership once you purchase a vehicle from them. I'm keeping 2-stars because, overall, the buying process was not nearly as frustrating as most. Once you purchase the vehicle, they could care less. They made their sale, they're done. 1. I was talked into buying a Certified Pre-Owned Warranty. (I had always thought that if a car was eligible for CPO status, they just had it...) I paid $850 in fees to have the vehicle classified as CPO. I was told by both the sales person (Tim) and the finance person (Mike) that this meant the original warranty would "re-start" and I'd be covered for 10 years. WRONG. According to my CPO information from Hyundai, it's simply the remainder of the 10 years from the date the vehicle first was covered. 2. We brought in a voucher we got from the Jerry's website that day that if we came in and test-drove, we would receive a $40 Visa gift card. Tim signed a copy for us, and you are able to go online to track the status. It was never submitted. Now, it's past the time to submit from the date that we gave it to them/purchased our vehicle. I know $40 isn't much, but it's the principle of the matter. 3. Tim stated that they were ordering an extra key and floor mats. Last week, Tim emailed me to come in there that Tuesday for the new extra key to be programmed. He then told me that the floor mats would not be in until the following week and I would need to come back to get them. Never heard from him again after that. 4. The Friday before going to get the key, in the same email from Tim, I had replied about concerns of the vehicle's windshield. There was a crack forming. Nothing had happened from the Tuesday through Friday that I'd had the vehicle to create a crack. It's garage parked, out of the elements, etc. It began cracking the next morning after buying it (Wednesday) - or before, but we noticed it the next morning. I was told there had likely been a small chip, but the car had not been being driven so once it was being driven again, that small chip turned into a long crack. I examined the windshield after being told this, sure enough there was the tiniest chip at the end of said crack in the shaded part of the glass that was hard to spot unless you were looking for it. I asked Tim if we could have it fixed, and sent him photos. He said that we would look at it when I came in. The day I went in, he was not there as he had a personal matter. When he'd emailed me that he would not be there when I was there, I mentioned the windshield to him again, he replied that he'd never gotten the photos. It had almost been an entire week since I'd sent him the photos, could he not have contacted me again to tell me he didn't get them BEFORE the day I was to go into the dealership?? This is the last email he has sent me. He never even told the service guys about the windshield as they looked confused when I'd mentioned it to them. He also never told them to fill the car with gas and wash it (I had to show them the email he'd sent me saying he would do that.) Overall, at the end of the day, I love my new car and am thankful for it, but I am not thrilled with the way things have been since I signed on the dotted line, and perhaps I'm just misunderstanding about the Certified Pre-Owned thing, but I feel lied to about it. I would, sadly, no longer recommend this dealer. More
