He told me 45 days and t payment. I get notice from capital one saying payment was due in 2 weeks. Was only 30 days. I asked sales manager in office. He told me 45 days and told me the date in August when it would be due. . I complained snd also called capital one told them I’d be bringing car back. Account office called me back trying to tell me Capital one give you 2 week grace period so that be your 45 days till. I said no every car I ever bought gave 45 days. When I brought up the discussion with the guy who goes over and has you sign your paperwork. ( he must been in office with the lady on the phone) I heard him say do you have proof of it! I would run as fast and hard as I could to another dealership who is not crooked or who lies to you. My windshield washer fluid was not working. Took 3 days for someone to touch base with me and I had to take it in to dealership myself and get it done. Their customer service is awful. Run run run if I was you. More

Sit there watching multiple people walk in and get immediate service. Most of them being assisted by the agent who I had communicated with and felt good about the appointment we scheduled, until the day of. Exactly 4 hours and 34 minutes after I filled out all required documents and provided the items needed on my part I was assigned to another salesman. This guy was the poster child of the underside of used car salesman. He was so robotic and scripted it just didn't resonate well. He finally brought up a vehicle for me to test drive. It was a little on the high side of my price range but it seemed to be a solid vehicle. So I decided to go with it. I was told "that's not a vehicle we are able to work a deal with you on." For multiple vehicles that were listed for anywhere from a few hundred to $5,000 less than the listed price on the vehicle I was essentially pushed into buying, not too upset so far given it has been a decent vehicle so far. So, the finance department started working up the contract. First a female came and introduced herself and said she would be done with the documents shortly. To no surprise of mine another "closer" Approached me over an hour and a half later. He tells me he is now working on my paperwork. He invites me into his office and excitedly pushes a stack of papers at me which was nearly 75% over the original mark I had set for the prior agents and it was a hard line. The down payment was 3 times greater than originally discussed, monthly payments were nearly doubled what was originally discussed, and the rest of the proposal was on par with the inflated deal. I told them to shred it all and I stood up to leave. Of course they went into damage control. 10 minutes later, not hours like the first deal, the exact deal I expected and demanded was presented to me. I signed and was handed a set of keys and a stack of papers. No one assisted me from that point on the next step so I took the temp tags which they handed me but later accused me of "stealing from the desk of the salesman who helped finish the deal and started affixing them to the vehicle so I could leave. The sales team ran out and started yapping about me putting the tags on instead of waiting. I informed them I had a job interview that I had to get to and no one offered to help me. They put the tags on and I left the lot, finally, after more than 10 hours of being there. 2 hours is all the time anyone actually provided any assistance. It was the worst vehicle purchasing experience I've ever had. They were terrible all the way around. More

UPDATE: I wanted to update my earlier review; unfortunately, I’m unable to find it or the original link. Despite a less than stellar experience originally in buying our daughter a used car at Jim unfortunately, I’m unable to find it or the original link. Despite a less than stellar experience originally in buying our daughter a used car at Jim Butler outlet, I will say they did step-up to try and rectify a bad experience. I’m not sure why they were more receptive in wanting to help us now? My guess would be the review I wrote, but, again, that would be a guess. Either way, we appreciated the change in service even though it should have been there from the start. Just be honest + transparent with your customer. It’s pretty simple, really. More
This is the place to shop if you like being lied to and want more problems than you walked in the door with…. Purchased a car in June 2023. Jim Butler kept the car to make sure it passed inspection and em want more problems than you walked in the door with…. Purchased a car in June 2023. Jim Butler kept the car to make sure it passed inspection and emissions and nothing was wrong it. Make first mistake is trusting them. Picked up the car and my 18 year old daughter drove it home. We got home and the key fobs didn’t work. So I immediately called the dealership about it. I was told to bring the key fobs back up and they would look at it. After fiddling with them they realized they were broken but they weren’t gonna do anything about it. Not one time was I ever allowed to test the key fob before sale. Who would think that is something you need to test? I get this is a used car but the honest thing to do would have replace one of them. But it gets worse. Then driving the car home white smoke starts coming out of the exhaust pipe and the brakes stop working. Reminder my daughter drove this car the day before. I sat in that office and told them I need to ensure this car was safe and they told me they would. FAIL!!!!! I had the car towed to the Jim Butler lot in Fenton because why on earth would I go back to the Watson Rd lot. They kept the car for two weeks. Come to find out the right bleeder screw on caliper was loose and the brake reservoir was empty. Jim Butler fixed that at no charge which I appreciate. It should have NEVER happened. In addition to that I had them look at a rattling that I was hearing in the car dash board. It was a lose cowl. They refused to fix that issue so I said turn it in to the extended warranty. This is where I learned that even the finance manager lied to us too. The warranty refused to fix it so I paid the $196 dollars. I realized I didn’t have a printout of the extended warranty. I called and left a message with the finance specialist. I got no call back. I sat there with my husband and mother. All of us heard him say when he said this would cover bumper to bumper. I called the warranty company to get a copy of the warranty. Imagine my surprise when I see all of the excursions and see that this warranty really is not bumper to bumper. Got the car back drove it for a week and the check engine light comes on. It is now sitting at the shop again at my trusted mechanic with a bad thermostat and a leaky AC line that the extended warranty is refusing to cover. I am so pissed off that I trusted this dealership. I will never make that mistake twice in my life. More

Definitely unhappy with the service 1. I received an offer for my car through KBB and this dealer was the first to contact me about wanting my car. They did not agree with KBB on how my car was valued and offered me $1000 dollars less than KBB. 2. They asked for $500 to hold a car for me. 3. They have not done any inspections on the car and it would be a couple of days before they could get it in to their shop to make sure everything is safe and will pass emissions and safety. Yet they allowed me to drive it? 4. Several calls and a lot of excuses before my car was ready to pick up 10 days after I said I would buy it 5. I drove the car less than 50 miles when the check engine light came on What kind of inspections did they do before selling it to me? 6. Took the car back to them to get fixed. they had to send it to another location for the repairs. It took them 6 days to get the car back to me. they did not offer any reimbursement or a loaner car while I was with out a vehicle. 7. They still owe me a spare tire and a second key and it has been (2) weeks since I bought the car. Lots of excuses, poor communication, cars not serviced before being sold. I hope nothing else goes wrong with the car. because I do not want to deal with them again I will not buy from them evee again More
