Hassle free with excellent service. I was in contact with Gem for a number of months waiting for the right vehicle. He was kind and pacient. Liars, damaged car, delayed buying to "fix" it Horrible experience. Avoid these liars! Brian, Steven, Kevin, Frank this means you (to put it lightly) you lying SOBs! Came here to purchase a 2015 Go Horrible experience. Avoid these liars! Brian, Steven, Kevin, Frank this means you (to put it lightly) you lying SOBs! Came here to purchase a 2015 Golf TDi Sportwagon, VIN# 3VWFA7AU9FM503580 "certified pre-owned, 2yr/24mo warranty", which I had inspected thoroughly the day before. All good so far. Had approval and check in hand from my credit union, however, they insisted they had to run another credit check, insisted it's the law, and then claimed VW credit would offer a better rate (xx, it was almost double % rate, they wanted to profit on the back end) Then they claimed they need to run a credit check if it's not all paid with a bank check. Blah Blah. Ok. 4 hours later, Almost complete with paperwork, they insisted I sign a BLANK power of attorney and made a verbal claim of who it's for. No, that's no good, need it on paper, but they tried to convince me "everyone just signs" (xx) and threw a hissy fit when I asked for copies of all documents I've signed. Would not show full pages until asked several times, "just sign here" is all they asked and only agreed to show full pages when I asked repeatedly and I explained I need to know what I'm signing which is a normal expectation" They finally agreed to it, getting tired now. All paperwork done, sales and finance. Walk out to the car that was "just detailed". Well, either this morning or last night, someone there wrecked/sideswiped the whole right side of the car: both doors, quarter panel and rear bumper and did a quick and very shoddy "paint touch up" job which resembled something an 8yr old playing with mommy's nail polish could manage, if that! Horrible! When I asked "what's this" and "why TF would you not tell us something happened and why would you hide it and try to cover it up" the general sales manager focused on the language and that "the deal is off, we will cancel it you don't need to swear" as if that's the issue here. FFS!!! Of course the deal is off, xxx do you think?? Another 20min and complaints from them about returning and/or destroying documents we signed with private info listed. Wasted 5 hours for nothing. Stay away from these crooks. They lie, lie, lie, lie! Do NOT buy a used car here. If you do, get all claims ON PAPER because they xx so much it stinks. They only care about making a sale and will xx to no end. This car is supposedly "certified" That's xx! It's a certified SCAM! More
