Ripped off I took my 2008 Saturn Vue in for a leaking heater core which had already been diagnosed by another mechanic. Since it is a known issue for Vues (back I took my 2008 Saturn Vue in for a leaking heater core which had already been diagnosed by another mechanic. Since it is a known issue for Vues (back in 2009 Saturn sent letters to Vue owners offering to repair the heater core at no charge. We bought it used from Vetter in 2012 so we were not aware of this), I called GM and they said I had to go through a dealer. Vetter said it was the water pump instead (the other mechanic had told me the water pump was fine). The cost to repair the water pump was $300 more than the heater core estimate Vetter previously quoted me. Vetter played the whole "certified GM repair" and the dangers of getting it repaired elsewhere, so we trusted them and proceeded with repairing the water pump at Vetter at 100% our cost. The same problems persisted even after getting the vehicle back from Vetter. We waited a couple of days in case the coolant just needed to flush through the system, but ended up taking it back into Vetter 3 days later. After inspecting it for a brief time, they found the heater core was leaking. Vetter said they'd give us a "deal" on the repair of the heater core by having GM pay for $250 even though GM paid 100% for repairs of heater cores previously. The bottom line is I'm not convinced the water pump was ever leaking. It was an easier repair job and more money than the heater core, so Vetter just said that when they couldn't be bothered to look for the actual cause of the problems. I will never buy another vehicle from Vetter and I will never get service there again. More

I had been looking for this type of vehicle for several months. After finding it on the internet, I inquired about it on line and with in ten minutes had a response to my email asking what would be the bes months. I called the dealership and spoke to Scott who answered my questions and asked when I could come in and drive the vehicle. I told him I could not be there until 6:30 that day he informed me the dealership closed at 6:00, but if it would help me he would send someone down with the vehicle for me to look at and test drive, which I found to be above and beyond my expectations, the following day. I told him that was not needed that I would come the next day. Scott informed me he would not be at the dealership the next day and told me to ask for Ryan. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership we were promptly greeted and asked how we could serviced . I asked to see Ryan and was told it would be just a few minutes that he was finishing up with another customer. At that point we were asked what can they do for us while Ryan finished I asked to see the vehicle I inquired about when the person said no problem he then got the keys for the vehicle and walked my wife and myself to the vehicle and said go take a ride and Ryan should be ready for you when you return. We took a ride in the vehicle and decided it was what we were looking for and returned to the dealership were we met Ryan who had us prequalified and papers ready to do a deal . We quickly came to terms and Ryan did paper work start to finish in and out in 30 minutes. My wife and I have not this kind of treatment in our area. It was a drive from Granger In to Three Rivers Mi but Vetter Chevrolet proved to be WELL beyond our expectations. TERRIFIC EXPERIANCE!!! I stopped by the dealer and took a test drive with Brian Ruth...I was on vacation so I had time to look at maybe a new car since my newest car was a 13 year old Saturn that I had no trouble with. I thought the Chevy Malibu was close to what I had ....since they don't make the Saturn I would stay with the G.M. brand. Brian was very knowledgeable about the car. There was no pressure to buy right away but I was satisfied with the car and the sales person.....so I asked if I could get another color and bingo he did all that for me. We put about 160 miles on the car already and it is great!! More
