I have purchased many vehicles over the years and this was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had! My Sales Representative, Mack McKinney was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The price was less than comparable cars I had priced elsewhere, eliminating the "game of haggling" which saved a lot of time. The follow up after the purchase was fantastic. They made sure we were pleased, even driving a rental car to my home (78 miles) to pick up my car to repair some things that we had agreed upon during the sale. They returned my car back home and picked up the rental. Upon inspection, we realized that they had missed some repairs. When I contacted Mack he made sure he followed up to do everything possible to make sure I was a satisfied customer, providing another rental while my car was being repaired. I decided to attempt to buy a car on line to see if the process worked. I am too busy to spend time haggling over cars and going from dealer to dealer looking for something. I was extremely surprised and pleased with the entire process of buying a car through the internet at Machens. I worked with Troy Atkisson over the phone and explained what I wanted to trade in and what I wanted to buy. They did everything they could to help me. I told them what I was interest in and what I had seen on the internet. Troy didn't try to talk me into something else he simply answered my questions and gave me options. He even went out and took a very close look at the car and told me everything about it. He even called me back once and told me he had found a very small stain on the console about the size of a pinky finger and want me to know. He certainly didn't have to do that. During the negotiations I told them I had a family emergency and had to stop the deal. Joe Potucek the sales manager called me back and told me no problem and call back if they could help. I called them back about a week later and they were ready to help me again, no problem. When I arrived at the dealers they had the car ready, we looked it over, and it was exactly as Troy described. They gave me more for my trade than any other offer and made sure I was happy with the deal. I was hesitant to work with a big dealer because I feel it can be such a hassle. However, I couldn't speak more highly of the way they work. absolutely no pressure, very low key, they listened, and gave me the car I wanted.
