After calling the service department and telling them the model and type of my vehicle, and getting an estimate for a transmission service, removing the pan and replacing the filter, I arrived there at my ap model and type of my vehicle, and getting an estimate for a transmission service, removing the pan and replacing the filter, I arrived there at my appointment time. After checking in, I go to waiting room as I was told it would take about 2 hours. An hour later, I get a call saying they can’t drop the pan because there is some type of cooler specific to hybrids that they don’t have the gasket for, nearest gasket is in Charlotte, and the work could be done the next day. Then it was explained they could flush the transmission but not service as was explained to me. I called ahead to see if this work could be done here and they told me anything to get me to come to this dealership. Totally unacceptable! My last visit here! More

BUYER BEWARE! !!!! I found a truck that checked all the boxes on the website of John Hiester Chevrolet. I immediately contacted them to ask for more details an !!!! I found a truck that checked all the boxes on the website of John Hiester Chevrolet. I immediately contacted them to ask for more details and place a deposit. On 10/12, I was told that no deposits were going to be allowed to be placed on this truck because of how many calls they were getting about it. Jon told me that the transmission was messed up and was going to be replaced, and it would be ready for pickup on Wednesday, 10/18. I was still told that no deposits were going to be allowed. I told Jon (the manager) that I would drive 4.5 hours to sign the papers on this truck and pick it up the following weekend. He told me that he didn’t want me to have to make a 4.5-hour drive to sign papers and not take the truck home that day, so he told me that he was going to put a sold tag on the truck and asked me to email him the check and lienholder information. I went to the bank right after the call with Jon. I got the check and lienholder information sent over less than two hours later, no response. On Wednesday, the transmission was going to be replaced. I called to see how everything went, and Ashlee told me that Jon was out of the office sick and that he was the only one who knew about the truck and to call back on Thursday, 10/19. So I did and was told that Jon was with a customer and he would give me a call, NEVER CALLED ME BACK. Then, at 6:37 pm, I get a call from Kyle (finance) the night before I am supposed to leave to pick up my new truck. Kyle tells me that the truck isn’t going to be ready as it needs another part. Because of this, he was going to have the truck delivered to my doorstep. He told me the part was going to be in sometime next week and that he would keep me updated. On Sunday, I got a notification that the price of the truck had dropped by $500. I thought nothing of it and went in with my day, then Monday I get a notification that the truck was sold?? I called to talk to Kyle, and he told me he wasn’t sure and would ask Jon and call me back. I got a call back for Kyle, and he said that Jon said that the truck had more problems and was going to wholesale. Then on Tuesday, 10/24, I am back looking, and I see the truck at John Hester’s sister store in Sanford NC??? I called John Hester’s sister store CDJR and they told me the truck sold last night. I am very disappointed in this experience. Very dishonest people. I had cash in hand the only thing holding me back was them. After all of the runaround and lies, I would NOT recommend them. More
