Left to Drive Unsafe Vehicle.. I have a 2016 Equinox with full warranty for 100K miles. 4 weeks ago my windshield wipers quit, right in the middle of rainy season. When I asked the I have a 2016 Equinox with full warranty for 100K miles. 4 weeks ago my windshield wipers quit, right in the middle of rainy season. When I asked the dealership for a loaner to drive that was safe and had working wipers, they said they had none. So I drove for 2 weeks, dodging the chance of rain luckily, then called back to ask for a loaner as rain was coming. Again, I was told they had nothing. The next day I drove 20 miles to work on the interstate when pouring rain started halfway on my commute with no wipers! I almost had a collision. Once I safely made it to work, I called a third time and demanded a safe vehicle to drive. I was told one was available. I picked it up, drove it one day and was suddenly called that my part "ironically" just came in. None of the staff there was compassionate about my situation and the fact I was almost involved in a collision that could have easily been prevented had they simply given me something to drive off the lot as a loaner...I mean, it is a dealership, why couldn't' they have loaned me something off the to to keep me safe? I will never return here again! More
