This is the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. On 4/29/26, I paid a tow company $250 to have my vehicle towed to John Miles Chevrolet because it overheated and all of the coolant leake dealership. I was called the next day by the service rep(Melody) and told it just needed a water pump. I paid $1400 to have the water pump replaced and picked the vehicle up on 4/30/26. On 5/7/26(6 Days Later), I was out running errands before heading out of town when it overheated again and all of the coolant leaked out. I called the dealership and they had a tow truck company pick it up. I called a ride to get home. On 5/8/26, the service manager called me and told me the engine is blown(Engine Head). I asked him why didn’t they discover that the first time before having me spend $1400 on a water pump. He stated (IT IS COMMON FOR CAMERO) and there is no way to know other than replacing the water pump and seeing how it go. He quoted prices to replace the engine $6500-$10000. I was out of town celebrating my birthday, so I told him I need some time to sort things out then I will call back. I called back the morning of 5/11/26 and spoke with the service manager (Tony). I expressed my issue as to why wasn’t I told the engine may be blown before being charged $1400 for a water pump and he stated they should have. I also expressed I feel as if I should be reimbursed for the water pump. The service rep (Melody) was off, so he stated he has to talk to her tomorrow. He requested I call him around 10am tomorrow and he will do what he can. I said OKAY but, in the meantime, I am going to send a tow truck to pick the vehicle up today. He requested I just call him when they’re on the way. A few hours later, I paid a tow company $181 to pick the vehicle up. When the tow truck arrived, they would not release the vehicle because they said I owe for the tow truck sent when the vehicle broke back down. I explained to them that tow was their fault and I am not liable. They refused. I was talked down too so bad by the service Rep name Sonya I literally reminded her I am the customer and I did not appreciate how she was handling me. I asked for the service manager (Tony) and I was put on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up and calling back. I was told Tony is not available, so I requested to speak to the owner (Chuck). I briefly explained the situation, and he made them release the vehicle to the tow company. The next day (5/12/26) at 10:35am, I called the dealership to speak to Tony. He did answer, so I left a voicemail. He did not call me back, so I called again at 1:15pm only to be told he is not available. I did get a return call. I think Tony is avoiding me. Horrible. I had a 9:00 am appointment for an oil change. I've been here for 2 and 1/2 hours and they haven't even pulled my truck in to get started. The purpose of making an appointment is because you want to have a general idea of how long your wait may be. This is the absolute worst experience. Would not recommend going to , I am in a middle of a lawsuit because the service manger lady is willing to put that whole entire business at risk and that place is letting her . Months ago I got my shift nob done , forgot what the actual name of the part is but it’s the part that controls the park and drive . A few days after I got it done I notice my locks weren’t lifting up when I put the car in park . and reported the problem to them . They said that there’s nothing they can do because they did the work already ,and now months have passed and the part they fixed has came unloose and has broken . I’m going to win the case for sure, but I wanted to just write this and note this because it’s so obvious that this whole entire place is somewhat scammy and customers I hear and see you for sure . Theres so many reviews about this place doing a horrible job on parts and to see them and the service manager behave in such ways is ridiculous and the service manager who is the service manager has been working there for years and just makes the place look scammy . I did not have much money so when I get stuff done I expect it to go the right way not wrong way . The place is barely standing and yet people who are working there are causing all of these bad reviews because the people who work there simply do not care and so people have to suffer . So the only way to go about it is a lawsuit because the place is locally owned . So it makes since why the establishment is the way it is . More
10/10/21 took John miles gmc. Mind you i purchased vehicle here. They Had my 2015 acadia 2 1/2 weeks to replace driver side mirror. Told various lies why it wasn't ready,even told me it was for pick vehicle here. They Had my 2015 acadia 2 1/2 weeks to replace driver side mirror. Told various lies why it wasn't ready,even told me it was for pick up got to dealer it wasn't ready .said mirror paint dry ,after they told me they sent it to Ford dealer to be painted. got it 10/29/21 and $800 later,after letting mgr.I was preparing to call my attorney on 10/27/21. WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER. CERTAINLY NOT UP TO GMC CUSTOMER SERVICE. BE FORE WARNED. THIS IS FROM MY EXPERIENCE. More
Rip off!!!!! My wife drives a 2015 Camaro SS. Keep in mind my wife tells me to slow down when doing 90mph. She is the primary driver and is a very careful driver. My wife drives a 2015 Camaro SS. Car came with Brembo brakes and for some reason one of the caliper seal broke after 3 years. That cost over $600 to repair. Then after that my wife was complaining about not being to take her key out the ignition. We would have to play with the steering wheel and gear shifter before it released. Took the car back to John Mikes Chevrolet and they said they would have to do some repairs with gear shifter that would cost $408. I told my wife to leave. I researched online and found that there’s a cable that’s connected behind the ignition switch that was causing the key release issue. It literally took me 10 minutes after taking out 3 screws around the steering column. Plus there looks to be a recall because of the same issue. Dealer decided to lie and tried to charge my $408. Will NEVER go back there again. More
