"First Car, First Purchase, and a Pleasure All Around" I had the privilege to have my first car purchase be through Shawnee Mission Hyundai. My 2005 Hyundai Accent had been totaled in a wreck, and that ni I had the privilege to have my first car purchase be through Shawnee Mission Hyundai. My 2005 Hyundai Accent had been totaled in a wreck, and that night I began searching for semi-new Elantras to choose from. I found this sweet, Lakeside Blue, 2015 Certified/Pre-Owned Hyundai Elantra for a great price, and just looking at that car made me want to go get it! the next day I said I was interested on the internet, and just that afternoon I get a call from Brandon Shaw. He talks to me about the car, about some things regarding pricing, and how we could set up a time to have me test drive it. And the afternoon after, that awesome moment came when I had my very first dealership-purchased car! 48 hours after my Accent was wrecked, I was driving away with this gorgeous-looking vehicle! And Shawnee Mission went above and beyond to get me financing with $0 down! To top it all off, Brandon called me about a month after my purchase just to check on me and see how I was liking the Elantra! Super-blessed by these people, and I think Brandon is just the Tops! If there's a way to give this man a raise then by all means: GIVE HIM ONE! Thank you very much, Shawnee Mission Hyundai, for being so awesome and for helping my first car purchase be an experience both pleasurable and exciting! Recommend 'em to anyone and everyone, y'all! Poor service,and fail to honor warranty. I urge anyone considering to buy from this dealership,to run the other way! I bought a 2013 Hyundai Sontona with a full warranty. My engine has blown, I urge anyone considering to buy from this dealership,to run the other way! I bought a 2013 Hyundai Sontona with a full warranty. My engine has blown,and they refused to fix it. I HAVE had regular maintenance on my car. I had it in 4 times in 6 weeks for sluggish driving and knocking( one time they changed a spark plug for this) They couldn't find the problem,but assured me it was OK to drive and NOT to worry as I was under warranty( 34,000 miles)! I left dealership on a Mon,and on Wed had to have it towed in. This is when they informed me the engine was blown. They will not cover it,as I'm missing 2 receipts for oil,just oil. I have all other 5 receipts for oil change. Then they told me they would work a good service deal since I had bought 5 cars over the years from them. That General Manager was fired 30 min after our conversation. Today I spoke with new GM again stating "I have bought 5 cars from your dealership over the years" GM response" That doesn't really matter as Hyundai sells billions of cars a year " Me- " you really did not just say that to me"? GM- " just stating facts ma'am " DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this place! More
