I really appreciate the way Salomen presented the vehicles I was looking at and his evaluation of my vehicle needs. This is in contrast to the third dealership I visited where I was subjected to three hours of waiting on them to decide which hard sell tactic to use on me when I didn't even know what I wanted yet. In all, I visited 7 dealerships representing different brands. A co-worker who's owned three Sonata's bought his last one with Shawnee Mission Hyundai and did so because they made the buying experience more enjoyable than other dealerships he had worked with previously. Excellent Customer Service and Deal This was the 4th dealership I visited. I worked with Deb Essex from the very beginning and she was beyond wonderful. She took what I wanted in mind and called me when something came into their inventory that fit what I was looking for (which only took about a week). Shawnee Mission Hyundai is not a cut-throat dealership out to make maximum profit. They really care about their customers and want the transaction to be a positive experience on both ends. The car I bought from them was exactly what I was looking for, and the listing price was fair, so I didn't even feel the need to barter with the dealership on it. Unlike my experience at ALL other dealerships i visited. This was my first time financing a vehicle and I was very anxious about it from the beginning. Deb and her team made it was such a positive experience for me that I tell all my friends and family how wonderful this dealership is. I will definitely be visiting Shawnee Mission Hyundai for my next car! More

My only complaint is what I consider an outrageous document fee but I did not have the time or energy to dispute it. Barring that I could not be more happy with my experience. Chris Miller was also very easy and comfortable to work with answering any questions we had with patience. Both Dave and Chris are great value to the dealership. More

The minute my son and I entered the dealership we were greeted by a very friendly staff. My salesman was Salomen and he did a fantastic job. Unfortunately my Dodge Caliber was totaled by a drunk driver recently and I needed another car. I went to the dealership because of my past experience with them and certainly was not disappointed. The experience again was fantastic even with how busy they were. The salesman was Henry Frazier, whom I talked to on the phone earlier in the week. When my son and I walked in Henry was busy with another client at the time. Henry was able to work with that client and work with me and at no time did I feel like I was being neglected. My son and I were well taken care of by the staff. My son and I also were fed lunch while we waited. I had sent an email to the dealership earlier in the week with a question and I had included that I had been a previous customer and Salomen was the salesman. When I talked to Henry on the phone he stated that Salomen was on leave and if I bought a vehicle from them Salomen would be given credit for the sale. I appreciate that Salomen will be given credit for the sale, but I would like Henry also receive recognition for his exceptional job. Pam M. More

My Fiancee and I were waiting for the oil change to get finished and decided to look at the new models for fun. After some deliberation and talking with Bryan, we decided it was worth it to consider trading up. Bryan was able to get us a great deal on our trade-in of our 2013 Hyundai. He worked with us to get us further discounts and rebates to minimize our monthly payment while maximizing what we wanted in a vehicle. He was courteous, professional, and extremely kind. The only downside to our visit was having to wait until the following Monday to pick up the car as it had to be delivered from another dealership, but was well worth the wait! More
