We were inpressed with the car at the 2011 Auto Show in KC. Went to the closest dealership they were just closing we were rude to Dion and he was professional about the situation. The customer service that I recieved from everyone especailly Scott was GREAT. It was above and beyond what I expected. Everyone greeted me when I walked in the car dealership. We were impressed with her offer to sell us the car we wanted and to even deliver it to us, if necessary. With the intent to compare and return, we went to another Hyundai dealer who had the car we desired. They appraised our trade and set a price in front of us. When we saw their offer we were ready to buy because it was a very good deal and I honestly didn't think it could be any lower. Going back to Shawnee Mission Hyundai, they appraised our trade and gave us a written statement on what they could sell this exact same car to us for. After filtering through some variables I realized that, technically, Criss had come in five dollars under the other dealer! We felt really comfortable that Criss was sincerely doing her best, to not pad her pocket, but to help us. Uncommon to feel like someone at Criss Castles level is genuinely on your side. With this knowledge, we decided to buy our, maturing baby boomer, dream car. A 2011 Venetian Red Hyundai Sonata 2.0T with some nice amenities. We have bought many vehicles over the course of our 22 years of marriage, but have never drove away feeling as good as we did here. Carolina and Brett were helpful beyond expectation. Everyone, from top to bottom, was respectful and friendly even finance impressed us. We would trust this staff to sell a car to any of our five kids and that says volumes of our impression of Criss and company! More

My salesperson was Tracy Bean...she was very friendly and personable...The one area where she truly stood out, was the "honesty and completing what she said she would do"! Overall a good dealer to work with. My only complaint would be that I had to pry detailed sales and lease cost information (sales price, residual, fees in and fees out) out of the sales staff. To begin,I had a great experience with another Hyundai dealership and informed Henry, Michael,and Criss that they had to "blow" me away to gain my business. Well they did just that! Any dealership can "act" friendly and helpful to a potential customer, but I am a very savvy consumer and can see through this veil. What makes this group special is they are professional in a very casual (comfortable)way and they interact with the customer and more important with each other with great respect and care. Michael Downs also made my financial paperwork easy and seamless. I honestly feel like one of the S.M. Hyundai family! I am sought after by many friends to help them with car buying and between the great Hyundai products and the S.M. service, I will be bringing future buyers. BTW, this is my third consecutive Hyundai purchase. Mahalo Criss for allowing me to make the initial offer and working to consumate what I considered a fair transaction.
