BEST EVER Right from the moment we walked into KARP KIA in Rockville Centre, Long Island, my family and I, Helene Lighter, Joel Lighter, Jacob Wertling and I fe Right from the moment we walked into KARP KIA in Rockville Centre, Long Island, my family and I, Helene Lighter, Joel Lighter, Jacob Wertling and I felt at home and welcomed. Then we met with Audley Bullock and then we absolutely knew we were where we had to be. Audley is one of a kind. He is not an "assistant' manager" HE IS a caring, patient and mindful of the people he is working with person. He did everything and then some to make the leasing transition to buying for my mom, Helene and brother, Joel easy and comfortable and for me, my old lease to a new one. He made sure my mom (who recently had hip replacement) was comfortable and settled even before "talking business" The entire process was a pleasure. We met Peggy in financing and Dan one of the owners. KARP KIA is a place you want to do business with again and again. You have a gem in Mr. Audley Bullock. Perfection During the past 21 years, we have been purchasing and/or leasing most of our vehicles from Karp Auto...7 in total (3 Volvos and 4 KIA). Only twice di During the past 21 years, we have been purchasing and/or leasing most of our vehicles from Karp Auto...7 in total (3 Volvos and 4 KIA). Only twice did we get cars elsewhere--and we regretted it both times. Ironically, both of those dealerships have new owners, as they were despicable to deal with. After losing an Audi and a VW due to Hurricane Sandy, I told my husband that I would not go to any dealer other than KARP, but that we were no longer buying $40,000 cars. So, I phoned Ellen Karp, who had been so wonderful to us in the past, and asked her about KIA. Out of all the cars in their dealership, SHE chose to drive a KIA herself...that was good enough for me and my husband and I went in and leased an Optima for 39 months; We were so impressed with the way we were treated (like family...just the way we were treated at KARP VOLVO.) that we brought our son back the next night to purchase the same car we'd leased. Here it is, 2016 and our lease was up February 28....it never occurred to us to go to any other dealer but KARP. So many things have always brought us back there, the most important of which is their honesty. We were going to purchase our leased car. I phoned Michael D (who had sold my son his 2013 Optima) as I'd been very impressed with his knowledge of the vehicles...as well as his professionalism, personality and eagerness to please. I told him we wanted to buy out the lease b/c we didn't want to put down cash for a new car (I had just had several surgeries and medical bills had priority) The figures were much higher than we thought they would be and we were upset at the substantial increase to our monthly payments....until we received a phone call from David Wells, the sales manager at KARP KIA. Michael had brought our concern to his attention. David asked me if we needed a navigation system or sunroof and my reply was "no". He told me he was sure he could put us into a brand new car for less than the buyout would be. He asked me to give him a day and he'd get back to me...and he called back the next day. To make a long story short, we are now leasing a brand new KIA Optima EX for over $50 a month less than the monthly buyout payments would have been. We have no navigation system or sunroof, but we have our heated seats and heated steering wheel, leather seats, power seats, power windows and mirrors & almost everything our other car had, some of which has improved. Once again, we told our son to go to KARP KIA, as I'd told Michael what he wanted in a car--the day after we took delivery of our new car, our son traded in his 2013 KIA to lease a brand new Sportage (I'm sure you will be hearing from him as well) KARP places customer satisfaction first and foremost. They truly care about pleasing their family of customers, and exhibit that through their honesty, determination, staff selection, courtesy and impeccable service. When we've brought any of our cars for service, problems were rectified immediately...we didn't have to keep complaining. I've carefully chosen the phrase "family" of customers because that is exactly how customers are treated at KARP...like family. We will, most certainly be back for our next car and look forward to, once again, dealing with the amazing staff of KARP Sincerely, Sherry & Benjamin Barash More

Audley's professionalism was quite refreshing being I have dealt with some other Kia dealers on Long Island that were sub par on trying to gain a rapport. I went in knowing what I wanted, and received exactly that! There was absolutely no pressure, he was very straight forward with the facts, took the time out to make sure I understood the breakdown and was incredibly knowledgable about the product. I would truly recommend him to anyone who is in the market for a new or certified pre-owned car. Above all, I felt comfortable at Karp Kia, from the moment I arrived I felt good vibes and they make it such an individualized experience. Love my new car, it was a quick and easy process! More
They Wasted My Time I had an appointment for a used car. As I was driving there I got a call on my cell phone asking me how far away I was. I replied 5 minutes away. They said that someone just walked in and was interested in that car, but they would hold the car for me. I got to the dealer, waited a half hour to see the car (took time off work for this). Then the salesman comes in and tells me the car was sold, just now, as I was waiting for it. He said there was nothing he could do about it, its a done deal. I told him about the call I received stating that the car would be held for me. He said he knows nothing about that call. As he saw my frustration, he threatened to call the police. Terrible experience. Would never go back More

Horrible Customer Service Bought a new 2013 Sorento at Karp along with an extended warranty. I filled out all the necessary paperwork at Karp, and was told I would have the check in a couple of weeks. Over a month has passed... no check. I called Karp, and was transferred to my salesman Mike and sent to his voicemail. I left a message, and never received a call back. Called again, transferred to Peggy in Finance, given voicemail, left a detailed message, never got a return phone call. There are better dealerships around. More

2nd horrible review in less than a year If I could give this service department a negative number I would. I have had nothing but problems with this service department for the last year and If I could give this service department a negative number I would. I have had nothing but problems with this service department for the last year and I've been there a few times in the 18 months I've had my car, specifically, Paul and the manager Mark. Neither of them know how to use a phone. Paul can't transfer or give messages and mark can't return calls or answer. I was on hold for 15 mins before I hung up after being told by Paul I would be transferred to Mark. I was called at 7:58 in the morning by Paul to advise I got a school zone ticket in a rental. I asked for a copy which I never received and then I realized I had returned the rental 3 days prior to the ticket. When I called to tell Paul this he advised his computer froze and he would call back. 6 hours later I called and he informed me the computers were being updated and once he got his documentation he would call back. He didn't have his documentation but you want to accuse me of having a car I didn't have? He had nothing to show me that I was in the car when I was at work when the ticket occurred in a different county. I don't ever want to go there again. I want out of my lease so bad because the service is horrendous. No one answers the phone and no one wants to help you though so I might be stuck for another year with it. Maybe after I visit Sales they can actually help me. More
