I went to Karp Kia after visiting two other Long Island dealerships. I almost bought a different brand but saw this dealership on dealerrater. My experience with Ed and Todd was a totally different one than Autoworld and the other one I went to. There was no pressure and I came away with a new Kia not only at a better price but also with the peace of mind I was listened to and respected. Thank you! I will recommend Karp to everyone! More
I had gone to another dealer for kias and I had a nightmare experience. Then I went online to see if I could find a good dealership. I called and I spoke to Jonathan. I told Jonathan that I had a nightmare experience. Then I went online to see if I could find a good dealership. I called and I spoke to Jonathan. I told Jonathan that I had a craptastic time at the other dealership, and I wanted to try them. He answered all of my questions clearly and informatively. He didnt give me the run around or lie about the cars. He gave me ballpark figures that were on point. He got me the car for 50 dollars a month less than what they quoted at the other dealer. My credit is "challenged" as the finance guy very nicely put it but explained all my options and even how to improve my credit. Everyone was nice, NO PRESSURE!!! The icing on the cake was that they waited a HALF HOUR after closing since I live far and spent a good 30 minutes more finalizing everything. No last minute price change, sat with me in the car, set up features for me. And since Jonathan couldnt be there the day i picked up my car, he left a red bow and a beautiful note in the car. I would call it FANTASTIC. I wont buy from any other dealer. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. More

I have not purchased a new car in over 10 years and I went to another Kia dealership which I did not like the "attitude". I almost changed my mind in purchasing a Kia car and then I decided to go on the Kia website and came across Karp Kia. I got a response Immediately from Kendra and she set up an appointment and was super pleasant. I then came in and sat wiht Jonathan Hernandez and he was a gem of a salesman. Todd topped off everything by being the most professional Business Manager I have dealt with working out my numbers. I want to thank Karp Kia for making me feel so welcome and happy. My salesperson Vic, his co worker who helped with some of the paper work, the Managers etc. were all one the money. The thing that sold me on Karp most of all is the fact that I felt I was being heard, Vic, listened to my needs and concerns as well as my wants and never tried to over sell me. I have been in sales, sales mgnt. and sales training for more years than I want to admit and Vic is everything I want of the people I've managed and trained. I must say that of all the Dealerships I have dealt with over the years...Karp Kia is by far the most professional and respectful of the all! This is not a Dealership that will low ball you and try to hammer you in back end....Unlike every other Kia Dealership on Long Island. The showroom is brand new state-of the-art and inviting. I met Errol on Saturday and told him I was looking at several vehicles and would decide sometime the following week, but I really favored the Kia Optima SX...he did not harass me with phone calls...gave me his best price...we tweeked it a bit and I made the deal the next week. The General Manager introduced himself and thanked me for doing business with them- he too very professional! And then Todd Johnson , business manager, another professional and courteous person. He know his area of expertise well and was truly integral in making my deal get done. No pressure at all! and fair prices on a bunch of items I wanted added to my new toy.... Bravo to the Karp Kia organization for hiring talented people. They made my auto purchase experience and pleasurable and Drama free one!! I will recommend this Dealership!! Thank You George P. More
I went into the showroom without the intent to lease immediately but the sales rep Michael Diakanwa made me feel so comfortable that I was willing to listen to what he had to offer. I told Michael exactly what I was looking for and willing to spend. Without any pressure or stress he worked out the numbers and made it work. I had just come from other dealers and the experience there was the completely the opposite. I can honestly say this is the first time my wife and I enjoyed a trip to a car dealer. The Karp name is the first thing that drew me into the showroom but Michael is the reason I stayed. I am completely satisfied with the car and the experience and will recommend Karp to any who looks at the car.Thank you Joyce and Frank Fox. More

I had already tried out a Kia in another state and knew that I was interested in the Kia Soul. I didn't want to deal with a "Sales: person filling my head with advertising mumbo jumbo. Michael Rosenberg wa that I was interested in the Kia Soul. I didn't want to deal with a "Sales: person filling my head with advertising mumbo jumbo. Michael Rosenberg was the most real and down to earth sales person. I could not have asked for a better person to help me find the car I wanted. Polite, courteous and very friendly. After speaking with him I knew this was the dealer for me. The next day I entered Karp Kia to meet Mr.Vic Travaglianti who was also nice and very helpful. Took his time to make sure I picked out a car I would love. I wanted the Sorento came in to purchase it and Mr. Travaglianti insisted I drive it. After driving the truck it was to high for me. Mr. Vic still helped me in deciding on a car that was just right for me. Micheal and Vic are salesman of the year! No rush just wanted to please the customer. So thank you to all that helped me at Karp Kia even to the ones that entered the information into the computer. The manager Kevin even shook my hand and said thank you. By the way my car in stopping traffic so many have asked me where did you get that car from. KARP KIA. More
On 10/22/11,I went car shopping with my wife, but Karp dealership was not on our list. We wanted to buy a "used" car, but since we were not staisfied with what we saw, we decided to go home. Suddenly, we dealership was not on our list. We wanted to buy a "used" car, but since we were not staisfied with what we saw, we decided to go home. Suddenly, we stop for a red light at Karp. When the light changed we decided to check out Karp, anyway. The Consultant we met was Ms. Sjoberg. She was very calm, never mentioned of money, our credit, nor posed any intruding questions. She reasoned with us at each & every step, finally we decided to go for a new car because she matched our computer print-out price exactly(dollar-for-dollar)which all other dealerships were calling "MSP". Ms. Sjoberg had a superior "salesmanship" characteristics. For instance, money & credit standing were never on the table until she was sure we were satisfied. She took us to the vehicle & practically explained everything and answered all our questions. On the pick-up day, she stayed past her time personally waiting to make sure she delivers herself. She also showed the the special features our our new 2012 KIA Sedona LX. This is the first time in my 45 years of driving & car purchases that I felt I got my money's worth. In fact, that day, the best used car deal we got was a 35,000-mile mini-van for $18,000 before taxes etc... But, with only a few more thousands we got 2012 KIA Sedona with only 7 (seven) miles on it. I have waited almost three months before this review to make sure the performance is great also. If you need a vehicle today, I strongly recommend "KARP". They are excellent & the best dealership I have ever seen/heard of in all respects. More
