My sales rep, David Markowitz, was very professional and made me feel comfortable asking questions about the different cars I test drove. He made the sales process very smooth, he even called my insurance broker for me to have them transfer the insurance to my new car. He even took the time to introduce me to Jason Ferrara, the Service Manager. On delivery, David spent as much time as I needed to set up the car's instrument panel so I was comfortable with how it works and how I wanted it set up. Even after the sale, he promptly called me back when I had questions about how something worked. I will recommend David and Karp Volvo to all my friends and family! More
Exceeded expectation I have chosen Karp Volvo to be the dealer for my new 2019 XC 40 delivery. I am one of the first New York customer for the Care by Volvo program. The p I have chosen Karp Volvo to be the dealer for my new 2019 XC 40 delivery. I am one of the first New York customer for the Care by Volvo program. The program is so new that I was probably the first Karp Volvo customer in this program. My delivery was handled by David Markowitz, a very pleasant gentleman handling sales and leases. Although in the beginning we spoke to Damari Edwards both individuals made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The dealership building was roomy, comfortable and clean. My delivery was not quiet straight forward because I needed my old license plate to be transferred over. The entire process (from picking the pick up / delivery date/time) was handled professionally and expediently. The paperwork generation and hand off was a pleasant experience. In a lot of dealership, sometimes there is a feeling of being rushed but David spent so much time with my wife and I to include a system overview review and setup in the car. And again, as most dealership, once a sales is made, you usually will have to leave a voicemail and wait for a call back if you need information. This is where David and Karp Volvo won; I had to call back several times because there were some settings in the infotainment/central console system which I couldn't figure out. At all times, David was there to pick up the phone and patiently walked me through the steps needed. His extensive knowledge of the system is a real plus but his customer service attitude is certainly top notch. He gave us service beyond expectation. Bravo David and kudos to Karp Volvo for having a valuable staff in the sales department. More

Best Sales Team I recently purchased a car from this dealership and Tyler was my original sales person. I had to come in one day and test drive the car a second time I recently purchased a car from this dealership and Tyler was my original sales person. I had to come in one day and test drive the car a second time and Tyler was out for the day so the Sales Manager Damari told me "do not worry we are all a team here" and had another sales rep who was also nice assist me. long story short I ended up buying the car and both Tyler and the other gentleman worked together to deliver it to me. Hassle free, great place , great people!! More

I initially stated I had a previous negative experience at a di Unfortunately I did not have the best experience with the current lease of my vehicle. I initially stated I had a previous negative experience at a different Volvo dealership where the person did not state the corrrect amount due at signing. This time was worse. I initially stated I wanted taxes and fees rolled in to my monthly payment and absolutely zero due at signing. I was given an amount for the monthly payment which was then negotiated within the next week. On the evening I picked up my car it was then communicated to me that the taxes and fees were not rolled in to the monthly payment and the amount due for taxes and fees was only communicated to me on that evening. It is not a respectable way to do business to make people think they are getting a better deal than what is actually offered. To make matters worse the general manager, Wayne, called me the next day to apologize while at the same time basically blaming the situation on me. I hope lessons were learned for all involved. I know I learned mine. What a horrible response to my review from Ellen Karp. Of course you (the dealership) are now going to claim it was all in writing. Does that make it OK that it was not communicated to me verbally? It was on writing on Chelsea’s notes that she took after my visit, which again, was never communicated to me. Truly a horrible dealership. I will never be coming back to make another deal with Any Volvo dealership again. I regret my decision to lease to vehicle. I should have backed out. More
