Absolutely worst car dealership you can ever come across. no customer service what so ever. rates are 10times higher than market prices and the quality of the works is the worst you can get. This was my 4th Honda lease but first from this dealership, hard to even explain how poor the overall experience has been. I had my maintenance contract covering oil changes and regular maintenance- but they would not honor it anymore (as they changed their ownership on paper to screw the customers). Please go to any service facility or any dealership, but totally avoid this location. More
Worst service dept on the planet. 4th time going there....every time there's an issue. I show up at 730am....it takes them 15 min just to acknowledge my car is there....only went in because the tire there....every time there's an issue. After telling me it would be 15-20 min....it took 1 1/2 hours for me just to have to leave it there and come back. The excuse? We're behind getting the cars up on the rack....I can't make this stuff up....the manager there constantly blames everyone else for everything to the point I don't know what she's in charge of. She has zero accountability for what goes on there. I complained once before about this place....somebody put a reply on here like they wanted to here my issue...called 4 times....no answer....no call back. If I didn't have every warranty possible on the car....I would not go back....but for sure I would never buy another car from this place. More
purchased my 2019 Pilot for Honda of Katy - was told during the sales process and by finance team that the car purchase came with 5 years of oil changes at no charge. Well today 24 Sept 2021 I took my during the sales process and by finance team that the car purchase came with 5 years of oil changes at no charge. Well today 24 Sept 2021 I took my car in for an Oil Change and a service - Exhaust System Problem warning on dash. When I went to pick up the car after service was completed I was informed that the free OIL change would not longer be honored as the dealer had been sold. I explained did not matter if the dealer was sold I was told by Honda of Katy that I would received 5 years of Oil changes. After 10 minutes or so I was able to get the corporate name and number of the new owner to call. After leaving the dealer and driving about 25 minutes with the understanding that the issue with the Exhaust System had be corrected - almost every warning light on my dash came on and the car was barley able to keep running. After the service I now had the following issues - Car barley able to idle - very hard transmission jerk when changing gears - burning smell - The following are the warning lights - Emissions System problem / Vehicle Stability Assist Problem / Electric Power Steering Problem / Engine System Problem - plus almost every warning light on dash active. Do not know what is going on at the dealership - but I do know they are losing customer trust and possible any new sales from prior customers by not honoring the Oil changes - And their service department seem to have gone downhill and needs to be addressed - Hopefully no long term damage caused to my car by the inept service techs - will have to have Car checked by 3rd party to verify they have repaired everything correctly - More
Purchasing process was satisfactory....however....the service dept is atrocious....I work in customer service....and I've never seen such a disconnect between sales and service. Was told that my warranty that I purchased for $700 would not be honored due to new ownership. Only to find out after going to the front office that it should have been honored. If you paid extra for your lifetime oil change....it's valid....tell the service people to check the computer....because they don't. They're just telling everyone it's invalid. I hope no one else paid money they didn't have to because of the ineptitude of Honda of Katy's service dept. More
This is my first Honda and will be my last. I’ve had 2 batteries in 4 years for my 2017 CRV and missed it by 218 miles. That’s poor customer service, especially when I was there 3 weeks prior for oil chan batteries in 4 years for my 2017 CRV and missed it by 218 miles. That’s poor customer service, especially when I was there 3 weeks prior for oil change. I paid out of pocket almost $200. Don’t worry, I’m going back to Toyota. I never should have left, but Hurricane Harvey came and was told I could get a deal with Honda. I can’t wait to get rid of this car, so I don’t have to deal with incompetence. Toyota bends over backwards for their customers. More

Ended my added on oil changes without notice or reimbursement. Absolutely ridiculous! This is the second issue with Honda of Katy. First was taking my car on a joy ride and checking my gps showing reimbursement. Absolutely ridiculous! This is the second issue with Honda of Katy. Horrible service with clients. They are no longer honoring free oil change even though I still have 3 years left or 25,000 miles in the free oil change program. They are using the excuse that they have been bought out. When speaking to the gentlemen in the service department he told me that same thing happened to his daughter & they effectively did see in the contract that if bought out, the offer could be cancelled any moment. I came to speak to the finance manager with my full proof of contracts / documentation asking him to show me where it says it. He could show me. Says that they no longer use that type of contract & that they don’t have any proof of it since they have been bought out. For tax purposes EVERYONE know that you MUST keep all documents for at least 7 years. They are just coming up with excuses to no longer honor something they KNOW they have to. We have been loyal Honda Cars of Katy customers but this is the LAST car we will be purchasing with them. More
