Showed up for my oil change appointment to be told my "lifetime" oil changes would no longer be honored. I feel like we just got royally screwed on this Oil change package when we purchased 2 Hondas within 2 months of each other. To find out they have an option to keep the money and not honor the oil chan change package when we purchased 2 Hondas within 2 months of each other. To find out they have an option to keep the money and not honor the oil change agreement is beyond me and should be illegal. As I read the other reviews on the same subject, it brings me no relief to know I'm not the only one. Don't they know this would cause them to lose a customer forever?????? What would make anyone ever want to give them return business? Not a smart move on new owners part. Oh and btw, the change disappeared from the cup holder... yes...it was a test. More
Bought by new owners, very dishonest. We paid a big amount for life time old change and now suddenly not honored without any refund. If they decide to cancel a written contract at their whim they can c amount for life time old change and now suddenly not honored without any refund. If they decide to cancel a written contract at their whim they can cancel other agreement. STAY AWAY !!! More

0 stars for poor customer service…The CMBS warning 0 stars for poor customer service… The CMBS warning turned on my 2017 Honda Pilot while driving through a construction zone and I took an appointment 0 stars for poor customer service… The CMBS warning turned on my 2017 Honda Pilot while driving through a construction zone and I took an appointment with the service department for 8:00 in the morning, took in the car, the service advisor assigned to me was not present, another associate checked me in and asked if I will be waiting, I said yes and waited in the lobby for ~30 mins, asked for an update from associate who checked me in and she said the assigned service advisor is not in yet. I waited in the lobby for another 45 mins before asking and this time the service advisor assigned was present and he said the car has not been looked at yet as they are still working on previous days appointments and it could be afternoon before my car is looked at. I asked why was I not advised and he gave a lame sorry and said I was not here when you came in. No courtesy, no customer service. Made me wait for an hour and a half with no updates whatsoever and then giving a lame excuse. In this day, with access to my phone number, they could have called/texted and convey the message appointments are running late and give a rescheduling option. I said I can't wait any longer can you pull my car out, the advisor pulled the car out without a word and handed me the keys as if he doesn't care. Poor and Pathetic Service. Very disappointed More
Dealer assured me car would be certified in between me deciding to purchase and driving it off the lot. I paid $895 to have it certified. I’ve had the car a whole 4 days, and both key fob batteries are de deciding to purchase and driving it off the lot. I paid $895 to have it certified. I’ve had the car a whole 4 days, and both key fob batteries are dead. My brakes are squeaking and squealing. I need an oil change. I was handed the dead key fobs and told to enjoy my new (to me) car, and found handfuls of receipts and other trash in the center console. French fries under the seats. The list goes on and on really. What a horrifically disappointing experience. I spent $37k+ on a “certified pre owned” car that is anything but. More
I have purchased 5 vehicles from this dealer (3-CRVs, I -Accord and 1-pilot. Each came with the free oil change package (which I PAID for), but I was informed today (7/30/21) that it would not be honored. -Accord and 1-pilot. Each came with the free oil change package (which I PAID for), but I was informed today (7/30/21) that it would not be honored. I don’t expect to be purchasing a sixth from here. Other Honda dealerships out there willing to honor their commitment I suspect. More
I purchased 2 Honda Accords with free oil changes for life, only to find out last week that life ended without notice - I guess customer satisfaction is no longer important to Honda, as breaking an agree life, only to find out last week that life ended without notice - I guess customer satisfaction is no longer important to Honda, as breaking an agreement in any sense is wrong. Life is life. Both the dealership and I signed paperwork, some call it contracts. I've stayed with Honda for a long time, this breaks trust immediately. In a time where customer loyalty is extremely important, I guess Honda is telling me to go do my business elsewhere, to tell everyone I know to not buy Honda, they change terms after you buy the car. We are actively on the market for 2 cars and based on this, I would not consider Honda at all. I guess I am simply a former customer, a former loyal Honda owner, someone Honda once cared about. More
Just went to the dealership today for an oil change. As was mentioned by other customers already, the free oil change that came with the purchase of my new Pilot in 2016 is no longer honored. Instead they was mentioned by other customers already, the free oil change that came with the purchase of my new Pilot in 2016 is no longer honored. Instead they offered to change the oil for $59, discounted from their ‘regular’ price of $89… At this price I would go anywhere but there. I had a really bad experience when I bought the car there, paid for a $80 restocking fee for a door trim that was out of stock for a month when I canceled the order 5 days after I bought the car. This is not the way to treat your customer who just spent 40k buying a new car from you. Looks like the new owner is not any better. Stay away, there are better dealerships out there. More
They are no longer accepting the free oil change service plan that I paid for when I purchased my vehicle. The new ownership does not want to keep current customers happy. After I left the general ser plan that I paid for when I purchased my vehicle. The new ownership does not want to keep current customers happy. After I left the general service area and was told to go to express for my oil change, I was informed as of 2 weeks ago, Honda Cars of Katy, no longer honors the free oil changes. The new owners of the dealership no longer pay nor care. After I complained I was offered to pay at cost for my free oil change. This is the worst customer service I have received. Why does the new owner not care about treating existing customers. I saw in Nextdoor at least 5 other people complain of their free oil change no longer valid. Honda Cars of Katy, seriously consider how this prepaid for service, is worth losing customers over. I hope the warranty part I am waiting for comes in and is installed. Now I don’t have much faith in this dealership. Management please take a look at this. More
