Kayser began selling and servicing cars back in 1925 on East Washington Avenue in Madison. Paul A. Kayser, a farmer from Fitchburg opened the dealership to sell and service the new Ford Model T.

Kayser has since grown to sell Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Ford and Lincoln brands through 8 locations in, Sauk City, Green Bay, Janesville, Watertown and Madison.

When Paul Kayser began selling the Ford Model T in downtown Madison, the city was really more like a small town. Although I have always thought of Madison as having that small town feel, it has grown tremendously & very successfully since 1925.

I had terrible experiences at previous dealerships and when I got to Kayser Chrysler of Watertown, I was in a bad mood. However, it only took a few minutes for me to realize that this dealership was not l when I got to Kayser Chrysler of Watertown, I was in a bad mood. The Kayser webpage touts promises of car buying made simple and assurances that “it feels right” Maybe if Derek the sales manager was able to follow through in his word it would feel that way. I have spent over a month waiting on a vehicle that was promised at a certain price, and when the vehicle becomes available is 4K more. If your car buying process was so easy and simple “feels right” then you honor a price given when asking the customer to wait a month. More
