No respect from technician Had my truck in for service on 3/12/2015 , for a XM radio issue. Got there about 7:50 am ,after waiting for about 1 hour in the waiting to here someth Had my truck in for service on 3/12/2015 , for a XM radio issue. Got there about 7:50 am ,after waiting for about 1 hour in the waiting to here something the service consultant came out and told me my truck needed a new radio and would have to leave it over night. I said to the service consultant that I needed to get a few things out of my truck . As I went to the garage and got to my truck the technician was sitting in the driver seat, so I went over to the passenger side . Up to this point everything was good , till I opened up the door . I went to the passenger side to get my sunglasses and the technician had my $400 SUNGLASSES BURIED UNDER TOOLS . There were tools and a drill with a bit in it , sitting on the seat with nothing on the seat to protect the leather. Then I looked over and saw he had the radio out of the dashboard sitting on the center console with nothing between the radio and the console . Also tech was sitting in the driver seat with nothing protecting the leather seat . Let me say this truck is a week old , but that should not matter . I'll say that what I saw from the Technician is a lack of respect for someone else's property . If this kind of stuff happens at this dealership imagine what else happens that you don't see. I bought the truck there , and can say will not be going back there for service again . More
Terrible Experience. Watch out for these people I had a terrible experience with the Kelly dealership over the weekend. In fact I will be writing a letter to submit to General Motors so it can go o I had a terrible experience with the Kelly dealership over the weekend. In fact I will be writing a letter to submit to General Motors so it can go on record as a formal complaint. I had a 10am appointment Saturday and the service department had me waiting there for almost two hours before they pulled my car in to assess the trouble I was having with the windshield wipers. Why schedule me for 10am when they couldn't even look at my car until 2 hours later? This is extremely rude and unprofessional customer service. To continue, when I initially brought the car in I told the service consultant (Leann Green) what was wrong with the wipers and how they managed to somehow stop working. I also told her that I wanted another opinion regarding a leak that was coming from the AC Condenser coming from the front of the vehicle. She told me she would have the technician look at everything and would let me know. I told her that I didn't want any work done to the vehicle until I was notified. I was assured that I wouldn't be charged anything until I was notified. By 12noon I decided to have a relative pick me up because there were things I needed to do. I notified the service technician that I would be leaving the car at the dealership and instructed her to call me once she could provide an update. Around 1:00pm she called telling me that I needed a new windshield wiper motor because the linkage was broken and this inexpensive part wasn't sold separately. I was also told that the mechanic couldn't find the leak I had described so there wouldn't be any additional costs. Again I told the service advisor it was coming from the AC Condenser and I wanted a second opinion concerning how much it would cost to have it repaired. Before we got off the phone I was told everything would cost approx. $370. The cost was more then excessive but I agreed to have the work done because I couldn't drive around with windshield wipers that didn't work. At 3pm I was told the car was ready. When I arrived at the dealership the total bill was now $450. I was told I was charged an additional fee to have the mechanic tell me there was a leak coming from the AC Condenser. I asked the person why I was charged when I already knew where the leak was coming from and I had communicated that when I initially brought the car in. She told me the mechanic had to get paid for his time. This is completely unacceptable. I already knew what the problem was. In fact the dealership initially told me there was nothing wrong and were quick to tell me everything was fine until I urged them to look at the AC Condenser a second time. This was a way for them to charge me more money. I believe I was taken advantage of. I was lied to. I was charged a fee for something I already knew. I was told this wouldn't cost me anything. When I was notified over the phone how much everything would cost the additional expense was not brought to my attention. When I am picking my car up as the dealership is closing its brought to my attention? Unacceptable. I shouldn't have been charged the additional money. I'm filing a complaint. I will be telling everyone I know how I was taken advantage of. I have family who have purchased cars from Kelly. They lost a lot of business because of one person and the way I was treated. Heather Doll is the BEST car dealer EVER!!! I had an awful experience with the service department trying to get an inspection, than Heather Doll stepped up when she saw me sitting and brooding i I had an awful experience with the service department trying to get an inspection, than Heather Doll stepped up when she saw me sitting and brooding in the waiting area. She sat down to chat a bit. She was caring and honest, and discussed the possibility of making me feel better by putting me in a used car for not much more than the cost of the repairs needed on my old car. Within moments she had the perfect replacement car picked out, and she brought it around front for me to look at. I have poor credit and not much to put down, but Heather and her boss worked extremely hard to make the numbers work. I drove out of the dealership on Saturday with the potential new used car, and when I brought it back on Monday, Heather already had a possible payment plan lined up. I plan to return Tuesday and finalize the transaction. I will leave Kelly Buick with a smile on my face and a car I love! (She deserves a major raise! , More
Jim went above and beyond We had the luck of our SUV breaking down during the holiday weekend. We got stuck on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck for 6 hours. By the time we go to the dealership the service center was closed. We were lucky enough that Jim was there. He gave us a loaner so we could find a hotel and get some food. He also ensured that everyone in the service department knew the next morning that we needed our SUV looked.. We needed to get to work by a specific time as we had to call out since our SUV broke down. The service department called me at 7am the next day and continued to keep me in the loop. The SUV couldn't be fixed until later that day and Jim let use you the loaner vehicle. Jim and his team were beyond helpful with the whole situation. We were so tired and frustrated by the time we got to the dealership. Jim was amazing in helping us deal with everything. I would most certainly recommend Jim and his team for anything from service to buying a car. You will definitely be taken car of. We live in CT and my boyfriend said his next car will be from Jim in PA. More
