Service advisors are not created equal. I originally felt good about my dealings with Freedom Toyota in Hamburg with their sales, service, and customer service personnel until I came in cont I originally felt good about my dealings with Freedom Toyota in Hamburg with their sales, service, and customer service personnel until I came in contact with Steve Eberhardt, Service Advisor. He is rude, arrogant, and shows little respect for customers and their time. He walks around and acts like he very, very busy -- even more busy than the other service advisors. He makes incoming customers stand and wait while he completes the paperwork from prior customers. He then doesn't rush to get customers out after their service is completed. I have actually seen him move my vehicle out of the way so other customers behind me can leave. I have not experienced these issues with service advisors Chris Dorsey, Jeremy Brendel, or John Pietrowski. If I ever go back to Freedom Toyota in Hamburg for service, I don't want to deal with Steve Eberhardt. More

Finally down to earth people I had in the market for a newer vehicle to replace a well used and loved suburban. I decided on a 4Runner. I wanted red on black. Being from Ma, I wan I had in the market for a newer vehicle to replace a well used and loved suburban. I decided on a 4Runner. I wanted red on black. Being from Ma, I wanted something south of me. I searched a few sites and there were not many red on black ones. I called and emailed a couple of dealers to ask if they would send me pictures of the undercarriage. I explained that I lived near the cape and did not want to drive upwards of six houses if the undercarriage was covered in rust. One flat out said they did not have the time, another said theirs was great! Freedom Toyota was the only one who said sure what is your email? The next morning I reiceved them, called them and I said I would be down on Monday morning at 0900. I met Jeff H, told him who I was and what I was looking for, he lets head outside. When chatted about my drive and he was a little surprised. He tossed me the keys, I opened it up crawled around it, asked if we could drive. I had brought a cd to test the player, aux cord and 120 v plug to test those. I had the cc cranked and he said nice Pink Floyd. After a few minutes of driving I switched to the iPod, he listens, is that tommy Castro? I said you know who that is he said wow I have never met anyone else who has ever heard of him! The drive must have been 30-40 minutes. He said whenever you want to head back, take you as much time as you want. We pulled in he said what do you think? I said lets talk. After being there for about an hour half I was leaving a deposit. I had never bought a car from a dealer, I would have no problems driving 359 miles again to see them. From Jeff H to Jeff the warranty guy and Shane helping with the ever confusing state of Massachusetts, it was so nice to have my first dealer purchased vehicle be so easy. More

Second Purchase This is our second purchase with Freedom and I think they solidified a life long customer relationship. This one was for my purchase, a 15 4Runner and my sales person was Raj. He had us in and out, from test drive to going home in three hours. This certified vehicle had some cosmetic issues they are taking care of that I wanted despite it being certified. They didn't have to do that, but both Raj and Brian were great in that dept. Raj has a great sense of humor and is fun to work with, and I would be happy to work with him in the future. My beau bought his brand new Tacoma here with Donnie, and same as this past trip, we had a great experience. Very easy going and kind. Both him and Raj are no pressure sales people. You either want something or you don't, there's no arm twisting or games. And that's what we both like; it's stress free, and there's no pouty faces if you turn around and walk out. It is what it is, and you'll be treated with complete professionalism by all without snark or trash talking your current vehicle whether you buy from them or not (some dealers forget that you picked out your current vehicle for a reason, and trash talking is pretty much an insult to you). If you live in the area, come here and be done with it. You won't be disappointed. More
