Over inflated service estimate I came for a evap solonoid replacement. I was charged $75 diagnostic fee to read the service manual (which I had already done), then quoted 1 hour fo I came for a evap solonoid replacement. I was charged $75 diagnostic fee to read the service manual (which I had already done), then quoted 1 hour for labor when the device manual stated 6 minutes for replacement. I declined to have the work done for the reasons stated, and when I went to pick up the car, my quote had been lowered significantly. I felt they tried to charge what they thought I would pay but then lowered the quote when I called them out for being unreasonably high. More
