Nanosecond (Internet) Purchasing at it's finest! Flew in from Florida to assist my son with his first car purchase ever involving a trade. Son lives in Columbus, I was in Florida, his existing car was in local Honda shop for repairs, he has no credit, local dealer offered a trade on a Ford Escape he liked and test drove, but too many miles. He rents car from Dealer until I can get there. Spent an entire week looking online for well maintained, 1-owner Car Fax used Escapes at or around $10k. Found many likeables, with some being sold before I could arrive. Upon arrival on Saturday PM, we had 3 Visits scheduled with site unseen (Photographic) offers made on his trade, 1 in Columbus and two near Cleveland including one at Ganley Chevrolet and one at Ganley Honda. Local visit at Ricart Auto Mall on Saturday evening was okay, but the vehicle was not that impressive even though the photos led us to believe otherwise and trade offer respectable. Both Ganley Dealerships, on the other hand, top notch! All involved knew my situation and agenda and decision to allow my son to have the final say! And then there was Tiffany at Ganley Honda! OMG! What a blessing! For every challenge, like towing an undriveable car 134 mikes away without breaking the bank, there was a solution! Her creativity and attention to detail at every corner and speed bump were phenomenal! No problem too big to make my trip from Florida worthwhile, yet alone another 2 hour car trip with my son from Columbus productive. And you would never know she was even a salesperson when our initial contact involved conversations about Disney Cruises for families with young kids and Cheshire Cats from Alice in Wonderland wondering where to go next! And the best thing about her, was that everything she said rang true! The car on her lot was impeccable! Something many other salespeople claim about their used cars, but in this case, absolutely a truth! What a find! And by that, I mean a top-notch salesperson who knows her product, is willing to go the extra mile to overcome obstacles, very friendly and personable and above all...polished!! A rare gem indeed! And to think I flew over a thousand miles to meet her and find a reliable, we'll maintain car for my son who just left the nest! Through a routine maintenance appointment, we encountered Mike Homolak, who worked with us in leasing a vehicle. Mike also did an excellent job in dealing with us in a straightforward manner. Like Wendy, Mike was able to find solutions. I have already contacted Mike regarding another vehicle for a family member.
