I was waffling whether or not to upgrade from my 1997 Monte Carlo. It had a bad gas tank and the repair would have been about $600, much less than a new car but..... Jim said he recently got rid of his 1996 Monte Carlo and when he gave me the reasons why I decided it was time to move on. I test drove the CR-V and Jim pointed out that the car was made in the USA, in Ohio in fact. It probably won't statisfy my crabby neighbor but I'm OK with it. I don't know if I'll keep this car 15 years but it looks great, rides great and I'm looking forward to doing some road trips. More

I did not think I would qualify for a brand new car by any means, let alone be able to afford one.
