Tricked into extended warranty I bought my used Kia Sorento 2 years ago from Kia of Alliance. We initially aaked to test drive another vehicle but i was told I wouldnt qualify for I bought my used Kia Sorento 2 years ago from Kia of Alliance. We initially aaked to test drive another vehicle but i was told I wouldnt qualify for financing for that vehicle althought it was priced lower than the one I purchased. The salesperson did not tell me my vehicle had been wrecked twice prior to me buying it. They also told me in order to aquire my loan I was required to purchase an additional $2000 extended warranty. I was later told that was untrue by another employee when I called queationing about it. They told me I could cancel it but it wouldnt change my payment, it would come off the end of my loan...still being pro-rated for the elapsed time since my purchase. All in all I just felt the overall integrity of the business in my experience was lacking. I was treated like someone who could be taken advantage of, and all with a smile and handshake. They financed my vehicle and got me into a car, saying hopefully I could bring it back to trade in in a couple years. Trust me when I say i wont be returning there for my next vehicle. I do get my car serviced there and have had good experiences so far. My car is a 2015 no no major issues yet just oil changes and regular maintenance. More
