Key Fob issue. My key fob unlock button was wearing out. I switched to my spare key fob and found out it was never set up. Car was purchased new in 2005. Contacted My key fob unlock button was wearing out. I switched to my spare key fob and found out it was never set up. Car was purchased new in 2005. Contacted dealer 9 months ago who advised their "machine was down" and I was promised a call when repaired. After several attempts to follow up and never heard back I stopped calling. Recently I attempted to reach out to the dealer again. Tech informed me old machine still broken, but they had a vendor who they use for key fobs. Promised a call back, again never happened. Finally after several attempts I requested a Manager and Keenan in the Service Dept. assured me he could set me up with the vendor. It took a couple of calls to get scheduled but it finally happened. After a substantial time waiting in the service area, the vendor could not set it up but somehow another service manager was able to set up the key fob using the old machine. Issue was finally resolved and my spare key fob was working. I thank Keenan for his perseverance and the other manager for his diligence in getting it fixed. . More
Friendly KIA Service Dept The day I brought the car in for service I was not able to schedule an appointment, however, when I called I was told to come in and they would due th The day I brought the car in for service I was not able to schedule an appointment, however, when I called I was told to come in and they would due their best to determine what service I needed. The problem I was experiencing with the vehicle was a check engine light. Within minutes of my arrival at the service department I was greeted by an employee. I was told by David Quinn, a service advisor, to give him an hour to determine what service the vehicle needed to correct the problem. To my delight, David approached me in the customer waiting room in approximately one hour and advised me that the problem was resolved. This visit, in my opinion was handled in a very efficient and professional manner. I would like to take this opportunity to thank David Quinn and the service team at Friendly KIA. More

Thank God for warranty Sliding door on driver side started making noises after the recall was done on same door on the van back in June. Part had to be replaced on door. Thank God for the warranty. I do not have $1,000 to pay for this out of pocket. They reminded me about the breaks but I dont hav e $600 to replace them. I also think the price is too much. How come breaks aren't covered under the warranty? For the amount I am paying for this car everything should be covered. More

Emergency tire repair. My tire went flat and there is no spare (annoying enough to stop buying Kias). However, I called your emergency services. They picked me and the car u My tire went flat and there is no spare (annoying enough to stop buying Kias). However, I called your emergency services. They picked me and the car up within 20 minutes. Once we got to the dealer, it was near closing, they took the car immediately, patched the tire and had it back to me within 15 minutes. On top of that there was no charge for the repair. The people at Friendly Kia were great. More

Service with a Smile first of all I was surprised that I received a 2nd anniversary complimentary oil change by email, I called and made an appointment, was asked to print first of all I was surprised that I received a 2nd anniversary complimentary oil change by email, I called and made an appointment, was asked to print off letter, which I did and the oil change and free vacuum and wash were included. A few days later Kia sent by USPS a "cc" size card for the same service I had already had completed with the letter, so I shredded it. Big Thanx to the Service Staff also for getting my paperwork straightened out, guess Courtesy Kia had someone else's name and address on my Kia's VIN#. Since it is paid in full and registered in my name, happy they could correct the error while I was there. More
