I recently purchased a Subaru Crosstrek Sport from Ganley Subaru North Olmsted, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The salesman didn’t even realize that the vehicle I was looking at wasn’t par Subaru North Olmsted, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The salesman didn’t even realize that the vehicle I was looking at wasn’t part of the deal they were advertising. When I made a fair offer, the sales manager was overly dramatic and dismissive, turning what should have been a straightforward negotiation into a sales pitch. On top of that, the dealership kept me there far longer than necessary, even though they knew I was also in touch with other dealerships that could give me a better price. Two days later, when I was picking up the car, I mentioned to the salesman that I could have gotten a significantly better deal elsewhere — all he did was chuckle, which felt incredibly dismissive. The biggest issues came during the deal finalization. I was clear from the start that I would not pay extra for the auto start and wanted it included. They agreed, but when the paperwork was finalized, they suddenly told me I’d need to pay for it after all — which felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. Even worse, they asked for a deposit without ever explaining upfront that it could be non-refundable. Only after I made the deposit did they tell me that if I didn’t buy the car right then, I would lose the deposit. I believe that claim was misleading at best and prevented me from fairly exploring other dealership options. Additionally, they added an extended warranty and ceramic detail to the price without asking me if I wanted them. I noticed these extras before signing, but I never requested them. Overall, while the Crosstrek Sport itself is a great car, my experience with Ganley Subaru North Olmsted was frustrating, misleading, and disappointing from start to finish. I would not recommend this dealership. More
