I was glad to mak I was terribly disappointed when I dealt with Ganley Akron. I was given a GREAT you can have the car you want at a specified price. I was glad to make the deal happen. Here's the switch.....as I prepare to make the deposit on the agreed upon price (I have an email as proof) I am told that, you can't have the vehicle at the price agreed upon. It is now $110 more....not overall, but per month for 60 months more. Really? I would stay away from this place and fine some where trustworthy and honest to their customers. I urge you to look elsewhere as I am. More

Efficient, friendly and considerate! We called in to the dealership asking about a particular used Rav4 and got Jesse on the call. It was a pleasure working with him. He answered all of We called in to the dealership asking about a particular used Rav4 and got Jesse on the call. It was a pleasure working with him. He answered all of our questions about the purchase and went the extra effort to make the transition of "stuff" from our trade-in vehicle into the new so that we could drive away with the Rav that day. This is our second purchase from Ganley and will definitely check them out when we need another purchase. More

I paid almost $57,000 in cash after all was said and done. They had Custom Trim of America install bedliner and remote start. I paid $550 for the most basic remote start possible when I called Jim Steffens response was you said a remote start that’s what it does. I could go anywhere and get a better remote start with better features than this! Second when they put in bedliner they scratched my tailgate and covered up light that was in the truck bed. When I called to ask if they fixed my lights I was told it didn’t have lights, I showed 10 different people because I thought it was a cool feature at night when you shut off the truck. Was told by customer service and sales my truck didn’t have the feature I showed people. When Jim Steffen called me and told me my truck didn’t have that, he continually tried to talk over me and told me and I quote “I don’t know what to tell you! Great customer service after the sale!!! So now I’m writing this post I WILL FIND ANOTHER DEALER TO SERVICE MY TRUCK IF THIS IS HOW I’LL BE TREATED!!! More

I previously leased my Corolla at It was time for me to turn in my leased Corolla so I was looking around for the best prices to lease another Toyota. I previously leased my Corolla at a different dealership but their prices were so much higher than Ganley. My parents recommended me to stop by and see Lucas who they had just leased their new 4 Runner through and spoke very highly of him. Needless to say, I took their advice and was blown away. Lucas was fantastic to work with, very helpful, and very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles I was interested in. He made the process as painless as possible and helped me get a car that I am absolutely in love with. I will definitely be a returning customer to Ganley and I will absolutely recommend both the dealership and Lucas to anyone interested in a car! More

When I got there the van was not clean like it was described, Ruth Ham said she would make sure everything met my expectations (which were admittedly high). I ended up buying the van that day and she oversaw the remaining items that were promised and provided a loan vehicle in the meantime. Our van was delivered on time and in great shape, better than she promised, and I got it at a fantastic price. More

Never Again After having bought our Avalon and our 4Runner at Ganley years ago, our daughter decided to buy her first car here. The used car salesman was nothing After having bought our Avalon and our 4Runner at Ganley years ago, our daughter decided to buy her first car here. The used car salesman was nothing like the salespeople we had dealt with before. He was the type who is stereotyped in bad tv shows. Be that as it may, the Toyota RAV4 that my daughter was purchasing had a lag in the steering, which they said they would repair. Upon returning to inspect the car, prior to purchase, we discovered that when they removed the steering column cover for repair, it had cracked. Instead of owning up to it, the steering column cover was being held on with black electrician's tape. That should've been our first warning sign. Especially when, after bringing this to the salesman's attention, he asked, "And...you're going to let that keep you from buying this car?" To his credit, he also repaired a broken tail light, but his remark, along with the taped column, was enough that we involved the general manager. He ordered a new column to be installed, and my daughter bought the car. Now, in the 8 months that she has owned the car, it has been a disaster. The wiper motors, both front and back died. Twice. Now, 4 days ago, every dash light came on and her car completely died. Couldn't even be jump started. We had it towed, on a flatbed, $85 dollars, back to Ganley. The service manager told her 2 of the 6 cylinders were not firing, the O2 sensors needed replaced, 2 coils are bad, needs new spark plugs, and the previously installed remote start was done incorrectly and was a mess of tangled wires and needs removed. (I will state here that the remote start was a huge selling point of the car.). He also told my daughter that she had only put 6000 miles on the car in the 8 months she has owned it, and these problems would have been building up far before her purchase. She inquired as to how this car could've passed their USED CAR INSPECTION process? (In my opinion, if a trade is good enough to be on a REPUTABLE dealer's lot, and not taken to auction, it should pass a thorough inspection.). Neither the service manager, the used sales manager, or the general manager was willing to answer that question, or offer an amicable solution, as they stated, "we already put too much into this car before you bought it." Firstly, the broken tail light and the cracked column cover were their responsibility. Secondly, with such low miles since purchasing, could they not have compromised on a repair of things that were already an issue when the car was on their sales lot? Lastly, the service department will not touch the remote start mechanism, even to remove it, since they did not install it. How is my daughter supposed to address this issue? And the higher price she paid when buying the car was due to the much touted convenience of having that remote start! Now it needs removed, through no fault of her. As it sits now, her car will need towed off Ganley Toyota's lot. Never again will we consider this dealership. **Update** The car has been towed. But not before the Service man said, "A car like this should've been auctioned. A reputable dealer wouldn't sell a car that had this many problems, even if it was 'as-is." **UPDATE 2-22-2018**. The local service center mechanic phoned to say that the ONLY ISSUE with the RAV4 was the electrical wiring. ABSOLUTELY NONE of the other items that Ganley stated needed addressed. The coils, the o2 sensors, the spark plugs, they were in perfect working order. The remote start wiring was corroded and needed removed. The local technician told my daughter that the wiring was so corroded that it appeared as though this car had been IN A FLOOD. We do not get flood waters like that here in Ohio. That being said, the estimate for repair from Ganley had been almost $2k. The actual repair was only $200. NEVER AGAIN,, Ganley. More
