The corollary for an auto dealership would be what they do when things don't go well. Working with Chris Whitt, we purchased a 2010 VW Golf for our daughter going to school in Baltimore, MD. Less than a week later, as we were driving it to Baltimore, we had major problems with the car that required expensive repairs at a VW dealership in Baltimore. After returning home, we spoke with Chris and provided the parts that were removed and replaced. Chris took pictures of the parts and advised us he would forward the issue the Ganley Service Department. Within a week, although they were not under any contractual obligation, Ganley Service proposed a 3 way split of the repair between myself, Ganley and VW of America. Given the risks involved in the purchase of a used car, I felt this was a very fair and honorable resolution. Given our experiences with a previous new VW purchase from Chris Whitt at Ganley Westide VW, the exemplary, fast, and friendly service department and the handling of this recent transaction, my wife and I both heartily recommend and speak highly of Ganley Westside VW to our friends and family.
