A very pleasant, no-hassle easy experience This was our first visit to this dealership. My wife and I were quite happy with the experience – traded in 2 aging vehicles and got market/fair value for them towards the price of a used SUV (Equinox) that my wife had been wanting and then they shaved off another $600 off the listed price. The vehicle we got was in pristine condition for 67,000 miles and drives wonderfully. Checked the going rate online for this car given its year, mileage and condition and learned that it can go for as much as $18k depending upon location – got it for $13k. First nice car we’ve ever had. The best part was that after I had learned about the extended warranty company they were going through (Alpha Warranty Services) having some problems recently with customer satisfaction and business practices and then expressing that concern to Tom in finance (very easy to work with, courteous, friendly and highly knowledgeable), they allowed us an exception and provided us with a new vehicle extended warranty through their own WSP instead that covers 7-8 times what the other one did at the same cost (saved us another $400). We were helped by Gary in used car sales – very friendly, personable and helpful with no pressure at all to buy, lease or anything. Would do business with again! More

This was my first time buying a car at a dealer and I was not happy at all with them the list price for the car was 3995 I gave them a 2000 dollar down payment and I was pre approved 12+ years at the same jo not happy at all with them the list price for the car was 3995 I gave them a 2000 dollar down payment and I was pre approved 12+ years at the same job even know all of that they would not let me take the car that day it was five days later before they got in touch with me I will never go back there again! Unlike other dealerships that have high turnovers of salesmen. I appreciate Gene Harvey Chevrolet and their excellant salesmen Big Al and Reid. Big Al had helped me in my purchase of a new car and Reid was there to assist. Excellant customer service in these fine salesmen. Even other salesmen Alex and the salesmanager were very helpful and friendly. Just a warm friendly atmosphere at Gene Harvey Chevrolet in American Fork. I highly reccomend them to everyone. More
