As a customer service professional, I rarely leave reviews, but Gateway Chevrolet in Avondale’s service demands it. My 2020 Chevy Silverado has been a nightmare. Since March, I’ve made over five trips, including for a rental car delivered dirty with food crumbs and dirt, not fueled. The check engine light was fixed after months, but now I’ve got a shaking steering wheel, a death rattle on the freeway and a faulty turn signal. The truck was returned scratched with a rude note on the keychain. Customer service was dismissive with broken promises. I’m out time, Uber costs, trust and lost faith my truck will ever be the same again. Avoid Gateway. More
I’m very disappointed with the overall experience at this service center. From the beginning, there was a clear breakdown in communication. I provided a detailed list of concerns to be inspected when I dropp service center. From the beginning, there was a clear breakdown in communication. I provided a detailed list of concerns to be inspected when I dropped off my vehicle, yet those issues were disregarded. The advisor later stated the inspection was unnecessary, despite my written request. My vehicle remained at the shop well beyond the estimated 7–10 day timeframe due to the shop being behind schedule , with no proactive updates or clear explanations provided. Additionally, I requested that two open recalls be addressed, but they were never checked. I brought these concerns to the service manager, but unfortunately, the conversation resulted in no resolution or accountability it felt dismissive and unproductive. Ultimately, I paid over $500 for what I believe was subpar service. My concerns were left unaddressed, and the lack of transparency was unacceptable. Had to wait a week just to have the truck evaluated. It only took one day after they evaluation to get the truck fixed and back on the road. Cody was awesome and keeping us updated on the status.
