On Jan 11, 2020, after having a bad experience with a Honda dealer an hour west of me (I'm just east of LA), I decided to drive less than 2 hours east to Honda of the Desert in Cathedral City to look at Honda dealer an hour west of me (I'm just east of LA), I decided to drive less than 2 hours east to Honda of the Desert in Cathedral City to look at my second choice for the 2016 CRV I was in the market for. I met with Carlos Gonzales in sales who was extremely helpful and very transparent in his dealings, unlike the earlier dealership who seemed to have pulled a bait and switch on me. Carlos was friendly and knowledgeable and "went to bat" for me in getting me a good deal. When I met with the finance manager, Abdul Azad, an Operation Enduring Freedom veteran, he was just as helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable and also went to bat for me to get the best financing possible. I would recommend anyone in the LA area to make the quick drive east to Cathedral City to purchase their Honda, whether it's new, used, or CPO like I did. Carlos and Abdul exemplified excellent customer service and demonstrated Honda of the Desert is indeed a helpful Honda dealer. More
