I posted a picture showing how the dealership blocks the handicap parking spaces with cars in service or dealer owned cars, leaving only ONE handicapped spot and I park in the only spot with a handicap place card to shop at both Honda of the Desert or Toyota of the Desert the employees start harassing my wife to move my vehicle while I'm on a test drive. Amazing experience!! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience at Honda of the Desert. Heres my story: I was originally trading in my Nissan Sentra f I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience at Honda of the Desert. Heres my story: I was originally trading in my Nissan Sentra for another Nissan make, the Nissan Altima. Before i walked into Nissan i had already set my mind to what i was willing to pay for an Altima and had done all my research on true car, read reviews, EVERYTHING! But of course not everything happens the way you hope. The manager was just rude. He wouldnt work with me and eventhough they said they were at true car dealer, they refused to give me the true car price for the exact car that i was looking at. Sticker price for the car was 36k.... but since it was a 2016 and they were trying to get it off the lot they said they would give me an 8k discount. I thought it was too good to be true but i said hey lets just see what the numbers look like. NOPE! they ended telling me that they couldnt give me a discount of more than 3k and my payments would be in the 500s for 72 months. Keep in mind my sentra was valued at 9500 and i owed 4k so the remaining balance was going to be for a down payment for the new car.... you do the math. I was going to end up paying 40k for a 33k car and that was including trading in my car? I said xxxx no and left. That was enough for me to never buy a car from them. I dont have patience for people who try to fool me. Anyway, The next day i decided to go to Honda but before i did i called and made sure that the price they quoted me for online was the true price for the car. Juan (internet manager) said yes and he explained to me how their dealership worked. Ok well we finally made the decision to go and OMG what a difference in everything! We talked numbers, they have me the true car price, they gave me what i was hoping to get for my trade in. The remaining balance was put into a down payment and all the numbers looked good. They finally ran my credit, i was surprised to find out i qualified for their 1.9% for 72 months where at nissan they wanted 6%. I also found out my credit was 716, i was shocked because through credit karma i had a 643.... anyway my payments ended up being $393 for 72 months for the Honda Accord EXL V6 with moonroof and all leather seats. I absolutely loved my experience at Honda of the Desert... yes, it took a little while longer but because i had a trade in and that was a bit more paperwork but i dont care about that. I definitely recommend this dealer. :) More
