Alignment 180.00 vs $3500.00 fix Ken Garff in Orem mis-diagnosed my car would of cost me 3500.00 but all it needed was a simple alignment! I purchased a 2015 VW Jetta from an onlin Ken Garff in Orem mis-diagnosed my car would of cost me 3500.00 but all it needed was a simple alignment! I purchased a 2015 VW Jetta from an online auction. After I picked up the vehicle and found it was not driving stright. So I took in into Ken Garff in Orem. Talked with Thomas who was extremely nice and told him I needed to get an alignment done. He called me back after a few hours of having the car and told me there was $3500.00 of damage that needed repaired before an alignment could be done. So of course I took the car that was rated a 4.5 out of 5 back to the manhiem auction in SLC. Manhiem being a 3rd party arbutrator told me that there was nothing wrong with the frame or sub-frame and that all the car needed is an aligment. I'm not sure why Ken Garff service wanted to charge me 3500.00, I assume they where a little upset that I didn't buy the car from them and they wanted to stick it to me as much as they could. But the whole experiance was a lot like going to the dentist when all you really need is a cavity but they wanna do a root canel, replace the tooth with crown. Why? cause they can! More

Horrible Service Department Absolutely HORRENDOUS service department. After buying a new Jetta from them and owning it for 2 months the trunk latch broke so I took it into custom Absolutely HORRENDOUS service department. After buying a new Jetta from them and owning it for 2 months the trunk latch broke so I took it into customer service. After 2 and a half hours of me sitting in their lobby not knowing what was going on they finally came and got me, telling me it was all fixed. As I was driving away they came running out and said they had confused my car with another and had dismantled some parts. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. A few months after that my windshield cracked in half inexplicably while sitting in a protected parking space. I took it in and they told me "tough luck buddy." Long story short, Ken Garff VW Orem has TERRIBLE SERVICE. If you do decide to shop here, you will regret it if your car ever has any problems. Look elsewhere. More

Great Dealership We went to Ken Garff to check out the Passats but ended up buying a 2013 Touareg. Our salesperson was Jonathan Duerden. He was the one who just happened to come out as we drove up to the dealership. We found him to be very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He called, texted or emailed us almost everyday as we were making our decision to see how we were doing with selling our car and what we had decided about buying. We appreciated that, as he was never pushy, just interested. We found everyone else in the dealership to be very friendly and helpful as well. Overall it was a very good experience, and I would recommend Ken Garff. More

New Jetta I walked on the Ken Garff new car lot and was looking around. I wanted a new VW Jetta, but didn't know how to go about getting one. Chase Cornett a I walked on the Ken Garff new car lot and was looking around. I wanted a new VW Jetta, but didn't know how to go about getting one. Chase Cornett approached me and asked me if he could help. I told him that I wanted a new Jetta, that I didn't have a down payment, and I needed my payments low. I thought that that would be the end of the conversation right there, but Chase went on and described a possible way for me to get into a new Jetta. We jumped in a car and went on a short test drive, but still my hopes were pretty low about getting the car. We went in to Chase's office and he presented a plan that I would be able to purchase a new Jetta. I couldn't believe it! I was totally unprepared for this, but to make a long story short I drove away from that car lot in my new 2014 Jetta! I have now owned it for about 2 months, and I like it better every day that I drive it (every day). I have been in a couple of times to the dealership since, asking little questions, and Chase always took the time to help me understand things. I highly recommend the Ken Garff Dealership to anyone who is looking for a great place to buy a car! Joe More

Typically I hate dealing with car dealers but I have to say the guys/gals at Ken Garff Volkswagen are excellent to work with. They are extremely professional. Though we bought an inexpensive used car, we w say the guys/gals at Ken Garff Volkswagen are excellent to work with. They are extremely professional. Though we bought an inexpensive used car, we were treated like we were buying a new Porsche next door. Johnny Hansen and Aaron Adams went above and beyond my expectations. They were totally patient with all my questions and indecision's. I actually kind of feel sorry for them dealing with all my "abnormal" questions ;-). Anyway I definitely will be looking them up again on my next car purchase! Thanks again guys! More

They damaged my car while servicing it and made me pay half to fix it! Horrible business practices! They are not careful with your car at all. They have a small area to park the vehicles and during the we half to fix it! Horrible business practices! They are not careful with your car at all. They have a small area to park the vehicles and during the week they had my 2013 Passat trying to fix the many problems with the car, they put a really bad ding in the front right fender that was not there when I dropped my car off to them! I know my car and am very anal about upkeep and servicing of all my vehicles. They tried telling me that they didn't do that ding and after a long dispute they made me pay half the repair bill or told me to go somewhere else. Since I couldn't stand to look at that dent every time I get in and out of the car I had to pay the cost to fix the dent. If you care about your car and don't want it abused by being drove hard, careless, and with negligence then don't bring it here for servicing. More
