We bought our 2012 VW Passat TDI SEL Premium over the phone from Bill McDearman. He was honest, efficient, and knowledgeable about the vehicle. We drove 520 miles to pick up our new car. Paperwork took 5 min. Bill personally taught us the car features and even helped us find a local hotel. And, we love our new car. We drove home the next day, averaging 80 to 85 mph and got 36.5 mpg. We also had an 1/8 of a tank when we got home. This VW reminds me of my 1991 Audi 200. I love having German Engineering under my right foot again. Thank you VW and Bill McDearman on a job well done! The sales person was clueless, and the finance people wouldn't help him do our paperwork so what should have taken maybe 20 minutes took an hour. When we got the car home we found old pay stubs and receipts from the previous owner in the glove box and in the front passenger floor. We had to take the car back in a week later to get something fixed already... the on bright spot in this was the lady that we worked with to sign the loan papers was great! Super quick, competent and friendly. Everything else about that place was the pits, including parking our other car safely while we looked at other cars. TERRIBLE. More

I recently bought a 2012 Jetta SportWagen from this dealership, and it was a very good car buying experience. Chess Shiner and the rest of the staff were very easy to work with (probably 90% of our com dealership, and it was a very good car buying experience. Chess Shiner and the rest of the staff were very easy to work with (probably 90% of our communications were via e-mail), and they easily beat the price of all other VW dealerships along the Wasatch front. Similar to other reviews here, there was not any pushiness or pressure applied, which was very appealing to my wife. My wife was very specific about the exterior color that she wanted. There were not any dealers in the state of Utah that had this color. Two other dealers attempted to find a match in a neighboring state (which would have incurred an additional transportation fee), without luck. They (along with the other dealers) then tried to sell us on another color... which is part of their job, I suppose. Chess took the extra step and found a match for a vehicle that was "in transit" to a dealer in a nearby state. He was able to secure the vehicle, and since it was "in transit", there were not any additional transportation costs. It took a week for the car to make it up to Utah, we took delivery of it yesterday, and we are very happy. More

He was just exactly the type of person you would want to buy a car from. It was so refreshing in comparison to the other dealerships we had been to.
