I worked with a salesperson named Alex who was really informed and attentive, making sure I understood everything about the 2025 Ford Escape which really suited my needs. His friendliness added a personal touch that isn't always common in car sales. I left happy with my purchase and impressed by the customer-oriented service. Travis went above and beyond to ensure that the vehicle we wanted was available. Jon Long from Finance kept pressuring us to maintain the dealer financing from Chase. APR was ridiculously high. Told him that we were getting financing through our local credit union. Showed up a few days later with a check and he was not available as usual. Left the check with Christian. He did not tell Jon that we left the check. Fast forward 2 weeks later and I am constantly calling back and finally get a hold of Jon and he said that Ken Grody sent the Check back to my Credit Union because the time had elapsed to payoff the vehicle with them. Spoke with Mike the Finance manager and he said it was my fault for not ensuring the box at the bottom of the paperwork was checked stating we were seeking financing through a different institution and that it was only $300 in interest I would have to pay. In all reality, it was closer to $800 in interest that I ended up paying because they are incompetent and like to screw over customers. Did not even want to talk about assisting in correcting the problem. Never will I purchase from Ken Grody Ford!!!! More
Had a pretty heartbreaking experience, left my mom in tears. Found a great vehicle and worked out the deal we were looking for. Went through everything getting the loan set up but after 2 hours the finan tears. Found a great vehicle and worked out the deal we were looking for. Went through everything getting the loan set up but after 2 hours the finance department tried to extort another $4k on top of what we were paying. This predatory sales tactic caused my mom to brake down and leave the place in tears. Times are tough and trying to extort money out of people is harsh. Would advise going elsewhere. Follow up, a sales person called and said thay would like to make things better. I gave him a number for the car. The sales person said they would talk to the sales manager and try to get me that price. They then message me back to call them because they worked it out and we would be happy. I call the sales person and they said they got me the deal I wanted and more for my trade in. Intentionally making it sound like they got me the price and trade in I wanted, and putting an urgency on buying the car asap. The sales person purposely left out that they were still trying to up charge me $1200 from price I said. They did not come out and say this till I dragged the numbers out of them. More deceptive sales tactics, trying to get me to buy dishonestly. A honest sales person would have come out and said we couldn't match the number you said but we can do this. More
