"Poor customer service. Unresolved maint. issue."

- Allan

My wife and I are in the market for a new SUV. I have owned an Armada and would be looking to purchase another, but the service at Kerry Nissan has not been impressive. Instead it has turned me off of looking at Nissan cars. Most recently my Armada hatch lift has not been working. I took my car in to Kerry Nissan to be fixed, although the issue was never fixed. I have now been back three times and today I had enough. Assistant Chris Leip was rude, ignored me as another customer walked up and called me a liar when I referred to commitments other service managers made. This is not good customer service. I would hope the leadership at Kerry Nissan would want to know how their service is impacting their reputation and future business.

"Can't even do a simple oil change"

- Hebron Reds Fan

My wife brought our 2011 Nissan Armada Platinum in on 7/31 for a routine oil change to prepare for a trip we were taking to Baltimore (9 hours away). Following the oil change, when she started the car, she noticed it sounded abnormally loud and it was extremely loud when accelerating. She called and told me about it immediately and when I drove the car myself that night, I agreed that the car did not sound normal and did not sound that way prior to the oil change. My wife brought the car back to Nissan first thing the next morning. The oil change guys made her wait 2 hours so the engine could “cool down” before they looked at it. After looking at the car, they quickly concluded that there was nothing they did wrong during the oil change the day before. The service receptionist was rude to my wife and told her “cars get old and part need to be replaced” and we should rent a car for our trip to Baltimore. Finally, a service manager rode in the car with my wife. He acknowledged that the car was loud and did not sound right. He said it might be the catalytic converter, offered no help or suggestions, and said it should be OK for the drive to Baltimore even though it sounded terrible. Once we returned from our trip, I took the car to a local mechanic. Three different mechanics looked at the car and all agreed that it was abnormally loud and didn’t sound right. Finally, they found that the heat shield that covers the oil pan (which is removed while changing the oil) was put back on backwards. The local mechanic installed the shield the correct way which fixed the issue—however they also said the shield was now warped (concave) and damaged from being installed improperly by Kerry. Kerry Nissan showed complete incompetence to complete a simple oil change on a Nissan vehicle that they should be very familiar with. They failed to check something so simple when my wife brought the car back and they were rude and disrespectful to her. The Service Manager and receptionist showed no interest in helping us. You would think Kerry would want to provide good service to customers that are dumb enough to buy one of their $56K cars. Like—maybe if we were treated in an even minimally decent way—maybe we would be dumb enough to buy another one someday? Terrible service! Terrible treatment! Pretty much what I have found at every Kerry dealership I have ever dealt with.

"They don't do what they say they will do......"

- Denise Mrozik Pastore

Always check on what they say they have done. It's very aggravating when you go to your car and it's not done and they act like your wrong for complaining about it

"Kerry serviced my Altima replacing transmission at 95K miles"

- Gary M McGill

Bought our 2011 Nissan Altima from Kerry Nissan in Florence KY. We always took it there for service. We had them replace the brakes and that was a fiasco. My wife and I had to both go in and have a meeting with the then service manager to get resolved. Now we find out the transmission is going bad. 95,000 on the odometer and transmission has to be replaced? Not sure that they serviced the car very well. We won't be back to buy a Nissan or to Kerry. Seems to be a revolving door there also. Hard to service a customer when you know you won't be there year after year.

"Poor customer service"

- Elway

My comments are regarding the Nissan service center. Never return calls. I've left MANY voicemails. Never speak to a live person. Contacted them via their website and provide all of my information, but have never been contacted. This is the worst customer service ever. I contacted corporate HQ who were eager to talk to me, but I don't think they ever addressed the root problem. They also promised me that someone from Kerry Nissan in Florence would call me, but they never did. I'm done here.

"Worst Customer Service ever"

- helpfulreviews16

I leased my current vehicle with Kerry Nissan and I've had it for a year and a half. When we went there to get it, the sales guy was nice and helpful. Now, whenever I want to schedule an oil change or a maintenance, I get a girl who asks where I need to be transferred and I say Nissan services and she transfers me and it goes straight to a voicemail for Jack. I usually leave multiple messages and nobody calls me back. So I try to schedule something online and they never called me back for that either. I end up having to call back every few hours for days until someone will actually help me. I will never get a vehicle here again and will not make sure my family and friends don't go through this as well. I wouldn't be so harsh if this had happened once, but every single time I try to make an appointment, I go through this. It's too much of a hassle.

"Poor customer service- post purchase of Nissan "

- JennP

LOVE my 2010 Nissan Murano. Unfortunately after 6 years and 177K miles the transmission went out while I was 2 hours away from home. I had my vehicle towed into Kerry Nissan in Florence Ky early on a Friday morning- nearest dealer. I called multiple times to the service department and sales department (with multiple messages left) in efforts to speak with someone about my vehicle and why it was towed to their dealership. Not a return call for 3 days! In fact it was me who called again to finally speak with the service guy (Jack). Obviously I was incurring alot of out of pocket expense with having to rent a vehicle/ tow a vehicle and now service a transmission- Jack didn't acknowledge my situation (at all!) and advised he wouldn't be able to look at my car for 5 days- this was after the car was sitting in his lot for 3 days. I then paid 160$ tow fee to have my vehicle moved to a different dealership who addressed my problem immediately. Thank you to Coyle Nissan in Indiana for addressing the situation!! Kerry Nissan in Florence KY is not a dealership I would recommend. When you pay top dollar for quality you expect quality in return.

"Hyundai Service Poor at Best...."

- JO2306

Tried to stop by dealer for service on my new Tuscon with transmission issues...which many seem to have.... Too busy to help me. Scheduled an appt to drop it off 4 days later. Dropped it at 8:05 and finally called around 3 to see what was up. No one answered service lines after several tries. Receptionist said she could take a message but suggested I leave a msg for them to call me...I did and they didn't. Called over an hour later and was put on hold twice and finally someone came on and said they test drove it and found no problems...even tho many on Hyundai reviews had the same problem I went in with. Told the service dude I probably would not be back if this is the way the run their operation!!!
