I don't usually leave feedback or reviews but felt I needed to with Acura of Reno. I took my car in for an oil change and an issue with surges in acceleration, high revving. I told them I couldn't dupli needed to with Acura of Reno. I took my car in for an oil change and an issue with surges in acceleration, high revving. I told them I couldn't duplicate it that morning so no diagnosis needed, however I did ask if there's an update to let me know if needed. After that I was told the update was needed to the torque converter but not under warranty (my vehicle has less than 75K miles). So they went ahead and charged me without my permission $200 for the diagnostic and the oil change, stating no issues found and they couldn't duplicate my concern. Thats what I told them originally not to diagnose due to me not being able to duplicate the problem. Also, they tried to upsell their services for other recommended (not needed at the time) services of over $2,100. I would expect better service from a luxury dealership, not just money grabbers. I will continue taking my Acura to the Honda dealer that actually does a fantastic job and doesn't 'misunderstand' conversations. Very displeased and thought I should warn others. More

Awful service manager, unprofessional, and customers are always wrong. Just took car for an oil change and multi point inspection. I have a local shop do all my maintenance, but he kept saying not Acura service so it's all bad work and wanted to charge thousands for work already done. Ethan was more attentive and professional. I would expect better service from a dealership, not just money hounds. I will drive to Roseville for future services or my local shop (certified techs in Japanese motors). Some horrible and dishonest people. The techs dress better than service dept. They bring down the Acura brand that I so much loved. More
Dealership was very clean. Ethan gave exceptional service. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and very efficient. Worst customer service to date. Now this large dealer charges you the merchant fee to use a credit card….not even McDonalds charges a merchant fee.
